I feel embarrassed and ashamed about it. And I feel sorry for the losses on both sides.

I am really proud of the job that our soldiers are doing. There has not been another attack on America in our homeland since the initial one on September 11th. Ever since our men and women are over in Iraq they have been able to shut down, expose, and keep the terrorists on the run, and that is something to be very thankful for. I am really saddened when I see that America has forgotten what we are fighting for. They have forgotten that it was just recently that the death toll of Americans that lost their lives in Iraq has become equal to the number of Americans that lost their lives on September 11th. Our media has put such a crazy spin on the war, they have made so many Americans forget the real reason why we are over there. I know that it was hard to find any one in America that did not think that going to war was the right thing to do after they attacked us on September 11th and killed so many innocent people. Now it seems like the media has spun the truth around (because the Media is anti-American) and people that don't stop and evaluate what the media is telling them, don't even remember why we are at war. They fall for the lies that the anti-American media is telling them. I feel that any person that lives in this wonderful Country and they don't stand behind defending it should not have the right to live here. Those kind of people should be put on a plane and sent to the country THAT THEY ARE DEFENDING. I also think that the media should be held accountable for all of the lies that they tell the American people. They should loose their license to deliver any form of news in America and they should be fined a large sum of money for every time that they tell something that is not the truth. If that was the case I am sure that we would not even have a media, because they would be broke from paying fines for lying. The way that I see it is, if you don't defend this Country, then leave and move to some place else, and if you are so simple minded that you believe what the media tells you about the war and it's reasons, then you should not have the gift of freedom either. You are obviously too stupid to know right from wrong and you should live in a communist country so that you can have your mind made up for you and the government can tell you how to think and what to do. America should be left for the people that love the Country, realize that freedom is a precious gift that must be fought for at times to defend it and freedom is NOT FREE, it comes with a price of many people that died to give us the blessing to be free and we should never take that for granted, and we should always be prepared to defend it. I am glad that we were wise enough to defend ourselves when we were attacked , because the terrorists did more finacial damage to our Nation when they attacked us than the war has cost us. Wake up people this is a small price to pay for freedom and protection. Notice, since we are over there fighting, no one has attacked us on our home land? I SUPPORT THE WAR AND WOULD LOVE TO SHUT DOWN THE MEDIA!!!!!

personally i think that americans along with the rest of the world has forgotten why we are in iraq. it makes me so mad to hear someone say we shouldn't be there, we shouldn't be at war. WELL GUESS WHAT AMERICA AND THE WORLD YES WE DO! Have we forgotten what 9/11 means? That was a day i feel like we lost our hearts and souls to evil. Those people came onto american land and tried to bring us down. we can't let them! So many seem to think we invaded iraq because of nucleur weapons and to help those other countries over there, but thats not the reason, THOSE B@$#^&*S CAME OVER HERE AND AND KILLED OUR FAMILIES. They need to pay. I do agree that we should have in the beginning went over there and bombed and destroyed everything. yes i know innocent people would die and it sounds a bit inhumane but what did they do to us? and they wanted it to be worse than it was.
i totally support president bush and his actions in iraq. i think that we as americans need to be reminded of why we are at war, sure 9/11 everyone knows what that means, the twin towers fell but we need to be reminded of what really fell. i was raised in an army home, 21 years my dad served, and i remember the morning or 9/11 the hardest thing i ever had to do was call my dad and tell him "turn on the news, terrorist have attacked on u.s. soil". That day i felt like everything i had been tought and believed in for my entire life was destroyed. I am a proud american and i have faith in the u.s. but if people forget WHY then it will only happen again and probably even worse. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

I think americans should sit together and look at ahat destruction to human life saddam has caused the pain and suffering not just to his own people but to iran and and other surrounding countrys .Look at the chemical weapons used on the kurdish people .By understanding the actions of men in leadership and there intent for there country to prosper of cause damage in the community .It is good intentions that build a community and peace and prosperity in work and leisure .Have the american soldier been corrupted in a way that they brought shame apon themselves by abusing the arab prisioners sexually and should these soldiers should stand trail for rape .To treat the opposite side with no respect you lose respect yourself .

I feel the world had no problem when we save Europe from Germany in WW I AND II, had no problem when we saved MUSLIMS in Kosovo, had no problem when we held the line agains Russian communism, or when we helped Afganistan against the Russians who wanted to invade and hold Afganistan.
I think the world sure wanted us to feed Somalia. The world wants us now to go help Darfur.
But stop Sadam from his regin of death? The world doesn't seem to like it, and I have yet to hear a good reason except "we hate Bush." Oh, and people are dying! Sure they are. How many German civilians died when we put the Nazis down?

I am a disabled vet, I was in during Desert Storm. I support the troops but not the decisions being made above their heads that's putting them in harms way. We were wrong to go there.
Why don't we take the president and his crew and air drop them in Bagdhad. See how they feel getting shot at or blown up. Can you imagine that?

Obviously, America doesn't give a damn unless it hits home by way of fallen or injured family member/soldier! Other than that eveyone will just let it continue with little or no complaints at all.
