The libertarian party is the only third party that has a canidate on the ballot in all states for the federal election. The link below shows you the nmber of signatures needs by each third party to get a canidate on the ballot.

No. Off hand, I don't know of 1 3rd party that has primaries. They can pretty much do what they want.

No. No. Anyone with enough money can get on the ballot. Remember Ross Perot.
