Do you think the border between Canada and the USA should (or could) be dissolved, and what advantages or disadvantages would you foresee.
I think the countries complement each other and they each have aspects which would enhance their neighbor, so I would like to see the border disappear, although I seriously doubt that will ever happen.

Al Gore does live up to what he preaches. You just need to dig beyond the corporate right wing media echo chamber to find out.The Swiftboaters attack on Al Gore after his Academy award for An Inconvenient Truth, is not being done by a "non-partisan, independent" organization. Tennessee Center's President Drew Johnson comes straight out of the right's network, coming from Exxon-funded American Enterprise Institute and the right-wing-funded National Taxpayers Foundation. If you look at the links at the website for The Tennessee Center for Policy Research, you will find links to only far right leaning organizations like the Competitive Enterprises Institute, the Cato Institute, and The Heritage Foundation to name a few. The TCPR is part of a national network of state-based right-wing organizations in 37 states as well as prominent nationwide right-wing organizations.

This is one of my conspiracy theories. I believe that the Democrats want to force a precipitious withdrawal from Iraq in Sept 2008 so that they can blame the failure there on Republicans and help their candidate get elected. I also believe that the candidate will be Mrs. Clinton and they want her to assume the presidency without having to deal with Iraq. If things take a turn for the worse in the Middle East she will simply blame the Republicans and do nothing about that. She will be like that Roman Emperor (forgot his name) who supposedly played his violin while his country went into chaos. Mrs. Clinton needs to tell the voters what she will do to stabilize the Middle East after we withdraw our military forces. She also needs to tell the voters what she will do if she is inaugurated as President and our military forces have not been withdrawn as the Democrats hope for and she must make a decision.

I am looking to buy a Trike. I have a motorcycle license now, but my Wife doesn't.
1) Is There anything special needed for a trike?

2) Whould a standard operator (D) class do it?

3) Does anyone Who now rides a Trike wish they had stayed on 2-wheels? Pros/cons?

4) Have you seen this Can-Am Spyder comming out in Oct.?
(Thoughts?)

I am considering possibly selling/trading off the herd to buy this thing. All I ever get a chance to do anymore are Long distance rides (weather permiting). Even then, mabe only once or twice a year. If I could ride in bad weather with a bit more confidents, I would get more time in the saddle. I/e: Ride to work more, Ride later and earlier in the year, ect. Expecially with a passengers needs to consider.

Any helpful insite would also be greatly apprichiated.

Libs/Dems moaned for years about assault rifles.

But, they Dems let it expire in 1994. Dems did not fight to keep it alive. And, now that Pelosi is in charge she has NO DESIRE to re-ban those weapons.

My ex kicked me and the three kids out of the house on March 1. I know, I didn't have to leave, but because of the circumstances and stress he was putting us under, we left, and left him little behind, except what was his coming into the relationship. We now live in a tiny little apartment up the road from him, that has no washer and dryer, and I was told through a few friends that I could still go into our house and do laundry...but he has changed the locks, and stated that he will have me charged with trespassing... my name is still on the deed, and he still needs to buy me out on the house... do I still legally have access to it? I have a chevy silverado with some somewhat noisy pipes on her, and I love my pipes and want the least amount of restriction on the exhaust so she's good n' loud, and I know it's illegal to not have a catylitic converter on it, but I really don't want one if I don't need one. So number one question: do cops ever pull anyone over because of noise, then find they don't have a converter on their vehicle and fine them? And also my friend told me they can't pull you over until after 10pm because it's too loud. Is this true or is he just playing with me? Any help on this subject is much appreciated!! Thanks!!
