I am not refering to all president Bush supporters / republicans, I am refering to the supporters whose minds fell victim to the whole movement to get americans to spout meaningless jinguistic cliches, consider a very questionable definition of "patriotism" to be the ultimate virtue, and believe bush to be acting on the behalf of a god.

In New York state it's legal. Almost every where else it is not .This is nothing more than sexism against women. It's not fair that men get to take their shirt off in public but women can't. Something needs to be done to put an end to this. Will you please write your Congressman and encourage him to help give women the choice of going topless if they desire to ?

I 'll admit it, I'm not very politically savvy, but that doesn't mean I don't care about Government and how it affects peoples lives, etc. But do you (D's or R's) think that by B. Obama asking how to get people more involved in the democratic process on Y!A is a very clever ploy to guage what issues he thinks a cross section of Americans want to see changed or implemented? This is exactly what politicians do. They pretend to really care about the average American (when will we start to see them holding babies?) and try to act like they are on our side and want to make changes, but then, nothing ever really changes. We still end up with D's & R's fighting and squabbling over the same old issues. I guess my question is why should we trust ANY of the politicians? And yes, I do believe that America has the best system in the world for the democratic process, I just can't shake this feeling that they are all liars (politicians) and that its a waste of time and energy to get involved.

Got pulled over last night and the highway patrolman said that we were doing 80 when we were really doing 50. He said he "paced" us at 75 before catching up to us. Is it legal for him to "pace" us? Doesn't he have to get us on radar?

A Bushie is someone who in the face of irrefutable, undeniable evidence that Bush is wrong on an issue, has the inability to criticize or question. He looks upon Bush as god. He puts his political party before the good of the country, and hands over his personal rights with a smile. ~ Urban Dictionary

Who get's the feeling that it's going to be a Democratic election and will be between Obama and Clinton?I'm happy that it will probably be a Democrat in office. Not that I am either Dem. or Rep.,but we've had Bush in for 8 yrs.,and I think an extreme opposite would be a relief.

I'm not American and he was considerably before my 'time'

But all I know that Kennedy did was
1) Start the Vietnam war.
2) Nearly bring the world to the brink of distruction because of the Cuban misslie crisis
3)And most of the civil rights improvements happens after Kennedy

So what did he do that was so good?
