Why are mexicans the worst immigrants in the U.S.?

They get the worst rap because they have the easiest way to get here and there are so many of them. then because they are in hiding, they conjugate in all Mexican communities and so they don't assimilate into the American culture and population.

It should be simple, they look the most like Americans so if they simply TRIED to act like Americans, most people wouldn't even notice them. Problem is most try to turn America into Mexico, which creates resentment and makes them the worst. I see them as trying to destroy America!

I would not say Mexicans is the worst immigrants....there is a huge different between ILLEGAL immigrants and LEGAL immigrants. It's not just Mexicans Immigrants alone...any immigrants that refused to enter USA legally, abiding the laws of the land and refuse to learn some English to communicate with everyone else. The rest of the country must accomidate their needs but they do not willing to compromised. Learning English does not mean that an immigrants must forget all about their own language or cultural it calls Courtesies. By entering the US illegally, they becames a burden on the society and the tax payer, specially the middle class who already carry most of the weigh of this country.

if worst you mean more of them than any other, its obvious.. Mexico is just south of the U.S. no water between us so its easy to travel from there to here. Also there is a difference between immigrants and illegal immigrants, the illegal immigrants are the worst in way that once again they are the most abundant in the U.S. and are taking u.s. citizens jobs, and are getting free education from the taxes of legal citizens.

I want to be open minded when someone comes to our country to better their lives, that is how our country was founded. And I wouldn't call Mexicans the worst immigrants. However, my problem with many Mexicans is their reluctance to become American citizens. I was in middle school when the Vietnamese boat people came in the mid-to-late 70's. They originally took a lot of flak too, but they learned our language and found jobs. The kids went to English-speaking schools during the day, then the whole family went to "English for Beginners" classes at night. They found jobs, some of them worked more than one job, some in our town opened several business, and one is still operating even today. They became U.S. citizens and were proud that they made it through difficult times. They didn't seem to openly "mock" Americans. They didn't fly the U.S. flag upside down at a high school, unlike some students did in California recently. I understand that they want to be proud of their heritage and want to keep some traditions. I'm proud of my heritage, but I also speak English, I'm a law-abiding citizen and I'm proud to be called American. I wouldn't move to another country and expect them to learn my language and give me federal aid while I'm busy disrespecting their country.

Wow people here sure are ignorant. 1) I fluently speak both English and Spanish 2) I've never done a crime [that means I do respect the laws of this country] 3) Every member in my family [except the children] work 4) I go to one of the top college preps in my state. 5) I do plan on going to a good university to study law, become a lawyer specialized in immigration and help those trying to come here for a better opportunity. I don't know who told you that, but Mexicans are really hard workers, they are a huge work force in this country, there's good and bad in all races, lots of Anglos are white trash and lots of African-American live with what the welfare gives them.

You neither defined "worst" nor even bothered to use the term "illegal", so for me your question is non-sensical.

Why are there more Mexican illegals? If that is what you're asking, the answer is obvious. One, they are right below us. Two, US has more opportunities than Mexico.
