In New York state it's legal. Almost every where else it is not .This is nothing more than sexism against women. It's not fair that men get to take their shirt off in public but women can't. Something needs to be done to put an end to this. Will you please write your Congressman and encourage him to help give women the choice of going topless if they desire to ?

LOL my husband and I had this discussion the other day...because there was this man walking down the street who I swear to god had double d's....at least. My personal thought is that everyone should have to cover up. I know that there are some men and women that are attractive and they wouldn't bother me...but let's face it. Who do you see walking around with no shirts? Fat hairy men with man boobs. I bet if women could walk around with no shirts it would be 99% nasty looking women who'd actually do it. Personally I hate it enough when I go out and see some nasty girl with her thong hanging out...I most certainly don't want to see more.....especially now that I've had lasik and can't just take my glasses off to escape the horror!

Based on the fact that its legality in New York hasn't created a nudist state I don't think this is a major issue.

I'm with you that it should be allowed.

It doesn't require an amendment to the constitution. Only adjustments to public decency laws.

Boobs....I can't figure out my own obsession with boobs. Constitution Amendment...I don't know. Why not let each local community decide for themselves instead of the Federal Government imposing its will on everyone.

No, there should be a law requiring men to cover their nakedness. Two wrongs don't make a right.
