I was born and live in Venezuela (latin america) all my life
Where do i start? do i should ask for a regional sponsor before i apply for my visa?

Hi there, why do you want to move to Australia? We can be a bit of a small minded racist country and it can also be really hard to get permanent residency here. For some reason we make it really hard for people to live here. Which is weird because we have one of the lowest population densities in the world. Then again, half our continent is covered in desert and we are running out of water.

Anyway, no idea where you should start but the sponsor thing sounds good. I think if you have a sponsor it should be a lot easier to get your working visa. Good luck with it.

Do you have a job to go to when you get here? Do you have a trade that will be accredited in Australia? If you don't, it will be difficult.
The one thing that we are intolerant of, is people moving here and expecting the Aussie tax payers to support them.
So be mindful of these issues.

Australia is a great country, so I can understand why you would want to come here, but be prepared for a long wait.

I have a cousin who is living there, but is having an awful time becoming a citizen.

I hear it takes several years.

Maybe you could post a question online asking where to start.

Like a message board, or something.
