yes....the 3 day notice is sufficient for any rental violation that needs to be corrected immediately...failure to pay rent, junk in yards, continual noise violations..ect.
A 30 day notice is good for just having people move out if there isn't a conflict.

Nope. California is one of the most liberal when it comes to tenants rights. And a 30 day notice is required to be served in person and not through the mail.

They do give three day notices, but to formally evict you, they must also serve you with a 30-day notice.
