No matter how he will try to tell us he is giving US money in OUR pockets you know damned well he will be taking at least twice as much from us in HIS pocket......He always does, doesn't he??

I have an employee that says that there was a power surge in her condo which fried her electric appliances and she is running off a generator. There is very little heat because of this. Would city officials let a woman with a 12yr. old stay in this obvioulsy condemed building? The kicker is she was offered $100 per day for a hotel room, but will not take the offer because of the dogs. So, is it leagle for this woman to live in the building with her child or should DCFS get involved? I am just concerned for the child that is left home alone until midnight.

father, too add more info, I live in TN, The reason I never got a court order for him to pay support many years ago is because he said he would help, but never did! And he threatened to try and take custody of my daughter from me if I went to the courts. He's a confirmed drug user and I also wouldn't put a price tag on my daughter. Now she is old enough to make a decision whether to visit him or not. But he won't see her anyways. It's not the money now, but if I can get 12 yrs back child support to put towards her college, then why not. She wants to become a lawyer!

my friend was running a small computer sales and service concern without any registration but he has an currnet a/c in bank..he has issued blank cheques and bonds with his sign and got credit from 3-4 persons..unfortunately he met with huge loss and could not re-pay the loan..

he has spoken to all creditors asking for time but nobody accepted and wanted money urgently..he finally vanished from his home town and working in another town for a low salary..

now all the creditors deposited the cheques with some double and trible the amount they actually owed him and now filing a case against him with dis-honoured cheques...

what should my friend do now ?
If he do not attend the case what will happen to him?Will court produce a arrest warrent? still if nobody locate him what will happen?

1)what do you think is the cause of the conflict in Israel/Palestine? What did the British have to do with it?

The Democrates are attaching unrelated spending bills to legistlation to gain enough votes to pass their bills.
"Vote for this and we'll get your district,XXX million for that new -------------, you want. Vote against it and you won't see a penny!"

I watch news and read paper and I will tell you I hate both the Democrats and the Republicans. They are basically the same beast no matter what any of them say. People voted in the Democrats because they wanted change but here we keep getting the same old song just in a different key.

Isn't it about time we go for REAL change and start voting for Independents? People say it is throwing my vote away but from what I see voting for either of the 2 main parties is a wasted vote because they never DO ANYTHING THEY SAY THEY WILL, and the lack the balls to do what is needed over what is popular.

then why won't GW allow his people to testify under oath. If they've done nothing wrong, then what is the problem? Bush says that he will allow them to testify, but not under oath and as long as there is no transcipt of the testimony. Doesn't it seem like he is trying to set it up so that his people can lie about what happened? Why not put them under oath?
