i just want to know if i have the right to sue my bf who had married another woman instead of me since he had promise me that he will return to marry me. it is even on his letter, the date and all.

The only thing you might possibliy be entitled to if the wedding was already planned and for any for monetary damages that you may have suffered as a result of the wedding being called off (deposits for a banquet hall, limo, bride's and bridemaids gowns, tux's, etc.).

I really don't think you can sue someone for marrying someone else rather than you. It basically makes you look bitter (which I am sure you are) and pathetic. However, with that being said, have you already gone ahead and invested a lot of money into the wedding plans? I know several people who had spent money on wedding stuff and engagements were broken just months before the wedding. However, they took the high road and didn't pursue legal action (one friend had already spent at least 30k towards the wedding). They figured that it was still cheaper than a divorce would have been later.

The only thing you could sue for are expenses you could prove were incurred for wedding preparations prior to him backing out.

that will hold no legal water in any state.unless you signed a marriage certificate you are entitled to nothing of his.
