Republicans support the illegal invasion of other countries, the massacre of civilians. A poll by CNN found that 66% of Republican voters supported the use of torture. They support the sending of working class kids to their deaths in Iraq and the ready supply of guns to black and other ethnic minority kids so they can kill each other in gang wars. Republicans believe in a White Christian America and believe that other people are not true Americans just as the Nazis believed the Jews were inferior. They support discrimation and segregeation against Blacks. They support the right of the government to spy on innocent citizens in the US and the right of the government to monitor the political activities of its opponents. Why do people support these Nazis?

My girlfriend knows nobody in the U.S. except me and my parents. Can she say that we are going to cover her expenses and give her a tour of the U.S. or will they question how we know each other and think it is suspicious. Should she say I am a friend??? How can she explain her reasons for touring and how she knows my family and I???? And will this work?

I've never got the hang of this...

So a clip is a device for storing rounds ready to be inserted into a gun.
A magazine is the part the clip is put into.

So the way I understood it was that, say for a 9mm pistol, the clip was the detatchable part with the bullets in, and the magazine the 'handle' into which the clip was put.

But Wikipedia implies the detachable part is the magazine, so then what is a clip?!?

I'm from the UK so don't see many guns. Someone explain the difference (with examples) to me please in easy to understand words.

Trained spys, analysts, employed for and by the U.S. government with the Defense Intelligence Agency, and, the Central Intelligence Agency, KNEW Hussein had no weapons of mass destruction or ties to Al Qaeda or other active threats, to pose any harm to Americans. Colin Powell, then secretery of state was not consulted by Bush, when plans were being drawn for the war in Iraq.

In fact, Hussein's regime was a hated foe of Iran, we sold arms and gave intelligence to Hussein and Iraq during the Iraq/Iran war. So, why precisely did we invade Iraq.

QUOTE :
"In delivering his verdict, Mr Walker said: "The attack on the convoy amounted to an assault.
"It was unlawful because there was no lawful reason for it and in that respect it was criminal."
Four other soldiers were injured in the attack near Basra
No American witnesses gave evidence at the inquest and the coroner was critical of the failure of the US authorities to co-operate.
"I believe that the full facts have not yet come to light," said the Oxford assistant deputy coroner.
The US pilots should have flown lower to confirm identities before opening fire, he added.
"I don't think this was a case of honest mistake."

MY QUESTION based on MANY facts of war relates to this CULTURE OF CONCEALMENT.

In the case above, this was NOT a witch-hunt. It was not a criminal court. The US and MoD were asked to co-operate.

Why don't they? When things go wrong - WHICH IT WILL DO IN THE THEATRE (FACT !) why conceal vital info?

I understand that the Bill to approve additional funds supporting our troops has been compromised by people only voting for the bill in exchange for the following:
a. aid for spinich growers
b. storage of peanuts in Georgia
c. something about eggs

Please tell me a site I can use to investigate this mess. Does this mean if one doesn't vote for the bill due to this waste they will be accused of not supporting the troops? I need to know who added this junk to such an important bill and who supported it.

as an Englishman it always amazes me that Americans are always talking about the American dream.
i have a few questions about this
1)Why do they never reach this dream?
2)Does this dream involve winning a lifetime supply of Big Macs and fries?
3)Can this legally be called a "dream" or should it be "nightmare"?
4)Does the dream involve any gun use training, to stop friendly fire instances?

Will he resign in disgrace, like so many of Bush's appointees and their staff members, or will the Administration finally step up to the plate and accept responsibility? Once again, Rove's fingerprints are all over this scandal, and it seems very typical of his (and Cheney's) past political maneuverings. It seems highly possible that this could have all been going on in the background, and that if Gonzales was even aware that it was occurring, he was being encouraged to keep his mouth shut.

Or, is the whole story about prosecutors being encouraged to go after Democrats (and take it easy on Republicans) untrue- in which case "someone" in the prosecutor's office would need to be held accountable for falsifying the consistently superior employment reviews received by those that were recently fired for "poor performance"?
