I am positive that if you were thrown out and you chose to quietly leave the area, the police would have done nothing to you. I very much doubt the bouncer would have let you leave with a drink in your hand as well.

We usually only arrest people for drunk in public outside of bars that are causing some kind of ruckus (or those who are so drunk they can't walk and are a danger to themselves).

Why not just blame it on your gay neighbor for having a haircut that the bouncer took exception to being associated with. Tell the judge it's all your neighbor's fault and everything should be cleared up.

Your remedy is simple. Stay away from bars because you act like a moron when you frequent them. Consider yourself lucky your bouncer pal with his "gay' haircut didn't drive your face into the edge of the bar top and rearrange your teeth for you.
Get real Mac.

You don't have a leg to stand on. There might even be a intoxication in public charge coming up to. So you took the drink out with you. Quit your damn whining you got thrown out because you have a big mouth and thats the bars right. Maybe you'll just have to learn to shut-up and keep your slime-ball remarks to yourself

That depends... did you walk away quietly or not? How far were you from the bar? Did you take an Alcohol Content test? I say get a lawyer, some witnesses and give it shot. You can't WIN the case if you don't try! Good Luck!

The bar is a public establishment. In the future you should focus on your drinking and stop being a fashion critic.

I want to see the arrest report because I dont believe drunks on the usual! You were probably the one with the silly haircut and the bounce just didn't like the way you parted it !

Sure you can, what you got charged with was probably Public Intoxication which regardless how you got in public - you were in a public place.
