I´d suggest you to watch some international news via net. Basicly the US army is everwhere.... there the medias from europe are quiet good, just because the don´t like the permanent fights all over the world
the main place are Iraq, Afganisthan, Bosnia

the US has established military bases in South Korea and Japan, Afghanistan, Turkey and Iraq, this policy of prepositioning military forces in possible future hotspots is a preemptive measure by the military to enable them to respond to crises all over the world
