So they can look like they are doing something but it just drives me nuts that Hillary Clinton a democrat suddenly out of the blue wants bill of rights for air travellers & now US soldiers where were this "debates" or bills last year or the years her husband as in office party politics aside do they really think people dont see how she of all people but politicians in general wait till after something happens to suddenly be like oh another way for votes. Enron & the bombing of the USS Cole pass it off.... Probes into corruption & leaks of republicians after it comes out ... & of course now that Dems are in they suddenly want stricter guidelines & corruption rules while at the same time fighting just as hard to make sure that any democrat past present or future convicted short of murder will still get their pension. They fight just as hard as republicians for their own raises yet limit the raises of US troops who struggle as it is. How bout both parties do something before it happens?

I'm just a young girl minding my own business. The new rules of random stop and search in subways and buses...is this necessary?

The subway has thousands of entrances that terrorists can get thru with no detection. Does Bush think manning only the busy entrances is going to stop a terrorist?
Soon the govt will have the right to stop me anytime anywhere to seach my bag for NO APPARENT REASON. I was just WALKING for godsake!
MEANWHILE, MEXICAN AND CANADIAN BORDERS ARE WIDE OPEN!! WHO'S MANNING THE BORDERS?

What would you think of a group of young black men in tuxes during prom season and when you ask where they are going they say to prom. In the rain they are made to get out of their car onto the ground where they were to lay while the car was being searched. After nothing was found, no apology, no discussion, no prom. 4 young men never even got to go their senior year. No big deal you say? No big deal to you. If they were white they wouldn't have been stopped for doing nothing wrong in the 1st place.

Couldn't the whole issue be avoided if the Government just got out of marriage entirely and left it to churches?
All the legal benefits could remain under a civil contract of a different name, like some states already do but only for gays.

Why not just have Civil Unions for everyone who wants them, then churches can decide whom they do or don't want to MARRY?

If you're a lib I'd like to know what led you to finally decide the president was evil. Was it the 2000 election? Prior to the election? The war in Iraq?

If you're a con I'd like to know why you don't think the president is a good man. Or why you think the libs are right. What made you decide you could trust the president. What made you decide to stop trusting him if that's the case.

I am part of the social, cultural and humanitarian group or committee for Jamaica as a part of my school's Model UN group, which will be meeting with 46 other schools tomorrow at a college to have a Model UN conference. My question is what I might be able to say as a part of this committee, I am not too sure of Jamaican things, they are not too often in the news and such and I was just wondering what kind of stand their government takes on certain issues and what issues are taking place in Jamaica that I may be able to discuss as a part of this comittee. Thank you!

At the same time they feel the death penalty is inhumane?

If a person commits a crime, why should they get better treatment and a better lifestyle than the average Joe even though they're behind bars? Shouldn't they lose all rights at that point? Why does the government allow that to go on while the public (and even politicians) complains about how the system works? Is it too much hassle to improve things? Or has the government gotten so corrupted over the years that they don't represent the people anymore like they were supposed to when it was created?
