It seems from my understanding that this system offers unfair advantage to the labour party due to the demographic arrangement of the electorate

It is possible for the conservatives to recieve more votes yet still lose on the number of elected seats.

Labour has rearranged boundaries to manipulate this system to its advantage.

Would it be better for a type of proportional representation?

Why doesnt the conservative party encourage this?

Millions are casting wasted votes.Surely there is something I dont know.

Four years ago we moved into our house, having taken out an Indemnity policy for lack of planning and building regulations on a small extension. We have now discovered that we have no foundations or footings to this extension. Will this policy cover us to have these works carried out? Legal advice much appreciated.

I'm asking this in politics because I just finished reading Ann Coulters book Godless (very interesting reading might I ad), and in it, she generalizes most liberals as being atheists. Is this true? Please put your political affiliation and answer. Secondly why do so many liberals believe in Evolution? I know most will come back and say, why do I believe in God when there is no evidence but the same can be said for evolution. No immature answers please!

When Hillary had a question a few weeks ago all we heard about was how liberal and biased Yahoo was for posting it. Now John McCain has a question posted. What's up with that? And why don't you hear liberals complaining? (Hint, we're not as paranoid and whiny).

okay, i just had my baby about 3 weeks ago & the guy that is the father has been bugging me about doing a dna test cause he don't think it's his and to be honest i'm not sure if it is or not. i had to move back home with my mom cause i didn't have newhere else to go (i found out i was pg after we broke up). he told me he wanted a test done as soon as i told him i was pg so it's nothing new. neway, he's already paid to get one done & made 2 appts. that i came up w/ excuses not to go cause i don't want it to come back not his cause i told my mom that i wasn't with nebody else. i did go around & tell alot of people he's the father. now that i haven't willingly gone for the test he says that he's going to sue me to get a test & on top of the test he'll make me pay for his attorney's fees, the court cost, & re-pay him for the money he already spent on the test i didn't show up for. Can he really do that or is he bluffing to get me to do the test? Would a judge really make me pay all that

It seems to me there are many people swayed by media. Yet the media tends to be very biased. Example: NBC and CBS very pro-democrat where as FOX is very pro-Republican. Yet they report very differently about the same topics. Am I the only one who thinks the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I'm just frustrated. Thanks

I met a man when he was engaged. We had sex and then 3 days before the wedding he broke with her and then he married me. Now she is applying for a visa to come to this country, to marry. I don't want her to come, so I went to the police and said that she send me bad e-mails and that she called me. She did not actually, but I wanted to stop her.
I thought that they would not let her come. I went three times, and they did nothing. I want her on some blacklist, so she never comes to this country.
Where else can I complain on her, so that they stopped her visa?

A society which strives to provide higher education for all its citizens, thereby raising the standard of all its citizens, or a society which strives to keep down whole segments of the population in menial jobs, essentially "shining the shoes" of the rich?

A society which strives to help each of its citizens to reach their full potential? or to continue feeding the top 2% of the population with 80% of the wealth of the entire nation?

I am sick to death of reading posts about welfare and not working.
I have never, ever met one person in my entire life who did not WANT to work.

Maybe you people who are bitching about welfare and "all those people" who aren't working -- maybe you know people I don't know. I suspect, however, that you have merely fallen for the lies spouted by angry white fat liars like rush.

Which is better for society?
For 2% to hold the wealth? Or...every American to have affordable health care, fair wages, excellent education?

Jobs on "yachts" indeed.

Let me be straight up. If you can give it, you best be able to take it.

Otherwise, get off this forum and go back to grade school where that type of behavior is expected.

Hey, my Gov teacher wants me to do a presentation about supreme court cases that apply to the following situation:

Your biology teacher spent two days on the evolution theory but your religious beliefs differ and you want eequal class time to present these views. You have discussesed this with the principal, the assistant superintendent, and the superintendent. They said no. (Hint:Edwards)

Could you list some supreme court cases which set precedents in regards to this situation? I think one of them should involve someone named Edwards lol 10pts for best answer!!

That way Al Gore and Michael Moore don't get in the way of people making good REAL documentaries, that aren't STRONGLY one-sided and edited to promote a certain point of view.

I think "The Day After Tomorrow" had more truth than "An Inconvenient Truth"
