This is a bill proposal I am currently working on that would give any military personnel (18-20yr.) the rights of any U.S. citizen of the age 21+. These rights would include:
1. The right to legally carry a concealed personal firearm off base.
2. The right to go to clubs
3. The right to go to casinos
4. The right to drink.

Some people believe that U.S. Military personnel already have these rights, however that is not true. In the 1960's MADD passed a bill stating that all military bases must "follow the law of the land". Therefore you can’t drink under the age of 21. Also only in a few states at the age of 21 are you allowed to carry a concealed firearm at age 21. And since most clubs and casinos serve alcohol anyone under 21 is not allowed in. I believe that the people fighting for our rights deserve our rights. Please give me your input on my "proposal” I already have a local House of Representative behind me, however I need to get a few more before a bill will be written

If we could afford to pay for health care we would be buying it?

It is not the lack of availability that prevents people from buying Health Care! it is the Lack of Money to be able to afford it!

12% of our population lives either at or below the poverty level in this Country as it is!

the key word is illeagl. We are a country based on innigration. That is great, but we need tostick to the idea of being leagel. If someone make it to our country illeaglly why do we reward them with welfare. We need to sent them back. If kids are born here and the parents are not leagle so are the kids. If someone wants to come to our country with a trade or somthing to offer economocally great let them in. If not sorry. We are a great country and there should be a minimum requirement such as speaking english and having a trade to be accepted. This free bee stuff needs to stop.

You believe anything as long as it's against liberals. The documentary was never actually proven wrong. Just conservatives blowing off steam because they can't handle the truth.

I don't write fanfiction because I find it boring but I was looking online about something else about copyright laws. According to http://www.templetons.com/brad/copymyths.html "Fan fiction and other work derived from copyrighted works is a copyright violation." So all of those people who post fan fiction of movies or TV shows on the internet are doing something illegal?

He is a spineless disgrace. During the 2000 election cycle George Bush attacked McCain's family and accused him of having black babies (like it's a bad thing.) McCain played the political snake and backed Bush's re-election in '04.

McCain won't stand up for his own family. Don't think for a minute that he will stand up for yours.

So then to the question: do you care what McCain thinks and if so, why?

During the Great Depression the only thing that pulled us out was the massive government spending to fund world war II. currently the economy is growing due to being proped up by the current war in Iraq. (5 years 1 trillion dollars for the war) Why wont the public allow this kind of spending on education, science, NASA, Health Care, Alternative Fuels. during a time of peace? yet we so willingly use the money in a time of war

Please sign the new petition as the statute limitations act prevents victims and survivors of child abuse suing their abusers. It protects the abusers and not the victims and survivors.

I really wish that our country could vote on issues instead of only getting to vote between two or three candidates and then being stuck with such lame compromises.
Just seems like so many major issues, we have no say as regular citizens.
