It's not in their interest. Democrats are worried about getting the poor vote, which is what these hispanics would be if their gained Amnesty. Republicans can't make their large coorporations angry, that's where the money is coming from. So us the voter who gave these pigs the power, are completely screwd!!! Look at the facts, after democrats talked about how much they would love to grant citizenship to illegals in Congress ( along with their best friend Bush) what do the voters do? Vote for them! Will majority Dem in Congress we are sure to be screwd further from the illegals, they will just grant amensty at any min now. HAve you noticed how quiet they have been about the poor border agent's case? Not that republicans are doing more... This country is in trouble!

Because they are so involved with the failed policy in Iraq that they can think of nothing else!
Also, the meeting of the three countries: Canada, U.S. & Mexico is an attempt by big business to unite the three countries so that they can take control of the entire American continent! Of course our President is going to approve of any thing that big business does, his friends & Dad will make big bucks!
I can't imagine why a boarder patrol man is in jail for doing what he was put there to do, unless he shot a child!
We are spending money to fight a usless Police Action in Iraq, so everything else takes second place & the money that should be being used to do a lot of civic things in this country are being cut back, including the border patrol, shore patrol, Federal agency for illegals, health care, VA hospitals etc. It won't change unless Congress gets off it's hands & does something to stop this mess.

I think you hit the nail on the head re: the disconnect between the common people and their leaders. I doubt GWB ever had his car broken into by an illegal (as yours truly did), so what's it to him as long as I'm the one who sustained the property damage? Ditto for so-called "conservative" politicians, like McCain, who come down on the wrong side of every illegal alien issue because they're pandering to voters in their home states.

Uck -- If they had to be us for a week, they'd change their tunes really fast. I feel terrible for the two Border Guards -- they should be getting medals instead of going to jail. What a way to support the guys who try to help make this country safer! Too bad those agents weren't on duty when the guy who broke into my car was sneaking across. . . .

do not blame President Fox for the brilliant poverty in Mexico. there is in effortless words a lot wealth interior a given united states of america, & Mexicans administration below 0.5 of theirs. some thing is managed by an similar organizations, extra regularly than not interior the US, who take advantage of the great, affordable confusing artwork pool of unlawful immigrants. Fox can in effortless words benefit this a lot earlier stepping on the revenue of those organizations. Any imperative or South American chief who has tried has been demonized as Communist. Chavez in Venezuela & Ortega in Nicaragua are reliable examples of this. both were elected by their human beings in honest elections. Ortega served a time period, became elected to pass residing house, & lately re elected for yet yet again period. this isn't the Communism I discovered in college. you're very proper for no longer blaming the victims interior the unlawful immigration debate. on each occasion residing criteria between 2 international places variety a great deal, the undesirable will to migrate to the richer united states of america. see you later because the organizations take advantage of their confusing artwork, they're going to proceed to employ them.

the problem is that everyone knows what needs to be done( secure the boarder, put the pressure on the Mexican government and give the illegals the ability to stay and if they screw up send them home. it is to late in the game to ask 11 million people to go home), it is just that everyone is to afraid not to be reelected. a leader will Waite and finally do something a great leader will do it not because it is popular but because it is the right thing for the country.

I feel a better question is why do people continue to think Bush is anti-illegal immigrant at all? I don't see what he's done to make you think he cares. He cares about corporate interests. The Atty General, Gonzales is the son or grandson of illegals...Bush ignores Congress and the people as he pleases.

Because the government wants rank and file citizens to be out of the way of their agenda. Either we become docile slaves of the NWO, or we are eliminated. That will be the master plan.

There is a plan to unite all of North America into one country, I guess they think if so many Mexicans flood america we will eventually learn Spanish so we can communicate with rest of Latin America.
