If me and this one police officer don't exactly like each other (dated back to our high school days).. and i suspect he's been with my girl, and i send him a text message saying, "you better not be messing with me boy" and he replies, "you better be joking because if your not we might have a problem!" now, could i get in trouble for that? he stated he was on duty.

what exactly can i say or do to a police officer if i have problems with him?

It seems he's making a cottage industry of criticizing the Clintons. He surely has become a favorite of right wing talk show hosts.

1. THUGS at malls here in WI are crying racism and oppression because we don't want them bringing their guns to Mayfair, and beating up on the customers who get to a parking spot ahead of them ...true story. They don't have money to buy anything (they are poor - stay with me here) but they feel they have a RIGHT to hang out at a MALL where the main purpose is to SHOP...purchase things.
LIBERALS - those poor kids should be able to go wherever they want . Life is already unfair to them because they are poor.
SHOULDN'T THEY ...oh I don't know...GET A JOB instead of hanging out and beating people up at the mall. The Wauwatose police get 200 calls a week from this mall.

2. A girl in the MPS School System was just taken into custody for punching her teacher 10 times in the face and chipping her teeth. What did the teacher do? Told her to GET OIFF HER CELL PHONE. That's it! The Mom of the girl said, that everyone is taking the side of the teacher, who was protecting her kid.

Is the Megans Law sex offender list fair? Is it right that young guys who's only "crime" was having consensual sex with their slightly younger girlfriends be listed in the same place with hardended serial rapists and child molesters?

So my husband and I had our license plates revoked due to a mistake with insurance. We where told that we needed to contact the NC DMV to get a court date. They will send us a letter telling us when our court date is. Our friend, also in the same situation, just got her letter, and they where given 2 weeks notice. This has me nervous, because we have plans to go out of state(back to our home state) for two weeks over the easter holidays.

So, if they set our court date for while we're out of state, could we reschedule it?

Let's face it. There's going to be kids where school is just not for them. Why not put them to work early so that they at least understand the value of work? I'm not saying don't pay them anything, of course they get a fair wage, but why not send them to work since they obviously don't care for school. Maybe it'll show them how much easier school is.

Let's avoid the name calling and childish accusations for a bit OK? I would like to foster some real debate on the following question. "What conditions (social, political and economic) must be present in order for a society to not only survive, but flourish?" Please address your comments to the actual question (not "libs" or "cons" etc) and support your statements, where possible with objective (observable by anyone) reasoning and logical argument.
Please extend your conclusions to their logical end result. Please address only what you believe would be successful, not what you believe would be harmful.

And no, this isn't a school assignment. I am 55 years old and far past having to fill paper with regurgitated opinions of some professor.

I actually am very interested to see how many people enter into the discussion and how many can stay on point. I will respect all answers given within the criteria stated.

We have paid holidays. We are only paid for the holiday if we come in the day (our scheduled days) before and after the holiday. For example if there is a holiday on Monday we must come in to work Friday and Tuesday or we will not be paid for Monday. Is this a common practice in professional companies?

The Boston tea party revolted because of "Taxation without representation". They were being taxed, yet had no say in government affairs.

Roughly 50% of Americans pay no Federal taxes, and many of those pay very little in State taxes as well. It doesn't seem fair that many of the poor have "representation without taxation".

In other words, it doesn't seem fair that those who pay no taxes can vote to increase the tax burdens of others to increase the services they receive.

(And to put this out there before the criticisms come, I'm not cold-hearted, but I do support a flat-tax system).

Do you lock your door when you leave your house because you're greedy, or are you protecting your wealth?
So many people seem to thing it's morally wrong for the USA to protect its wealth. There will always be people and nations that want to take the wealth of others. Protecting that wealth sometimes requires violence and even war. Americans seem to find this notion egregious and need some moral highground to be convinced that war is necessary.
Every war America has been involved in has been to protect its wealth, and by doing so the American way of life. It's likely the Iraq war has the same underlying reason. Why would this evoke such guilt in the nation as a whole?

I would like a serious answer from a very left wing Bush hater.
How dangerous do you believe Bush is to our freedom?
I have read many liberals that will even use the Hitler term on Bush.
Fine. Lets just assume he IS that dangerous.

What in the constitution keeps him from becoming a TRUE tryant say that rounds up all gays and puts them in camps.(i do believe this hasnt happened yet... )

What prevents tyranny from getting out of hand.

My true question. If you believe in the evil nature of someone like GW how can you tell law abiding citizens they cannot have guns?

Why can't liberals see that the second ammendment is the 'ace in the hole' for freedom?

All americans should be united in the RIGHT to have a defense against tyrrants.

Can any liberal argue.. Bush is evil! so now... give him your GUNS?

thanks for one serious response.. i see no logical way to
