There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. It is an area which we call "The Twilight Zone".

Like: Would you have not invaded Iraq? Or not claimed Iraq had WMD's? Maybe gone after Bin Laden more?

Try to redeem the failure that is Bush with one change.

i have a lot of new political ideas. i might want to be in congress someday. most people look at me and think only of my age, but not what i have to say. i want to go to the president and ask him what's going on about our school system. i want to be heard by the world. if not than at least the country.

Soldiers Face Neglect, Frustration At Army's Top Medical Facility

Behind the door of Army Spec. Jeremy Duncan's room, part of the wall is torn and hangs in the air, weighted down with black mold. When the wounded combat engineer stands in his shower and looks up, he can see the bathtub on the floor above through a rotted hole. The entire building, constructed between the world wars, often smells like greasy carry-out. Signs of neglect are everywhere: mouse droppings, belly-up cockroaches, stained carpets, cheap mattresses.

This is just one more example of why my dad, retired Navy veteran, said Bush hates military men.

What do you think explains it? How can you want to win and treat your soldiers like this?

2 1/2 years ago, I was on AHCCCS, which is Arizona state insurance for low income people. I had to have exploratory surgery because they did not know what was wrong with me and thought it was a hernia. It turned out to be ovarian cysts. The doctor told me she did the best she could to get most removed, but is not a specialist and could not get it all. She told me also, that in a few years, they would be bad again and I would need surgery again. I recovered and got work and moved on. None of the jobs I have had offer insurance and NOW this is a pre-existing thing and I would not get coverage for it anyway. The cysts are back and I am in pain. I need to have my ovaries removed. This is a costly surgery and I do not have savings or make a lot of money. I barely get by as it is. NO WAY can I afford the surgery and the added down time. Can I ask AHCCCS why they did not recommend removing the ovaries THEN? I wish I would have been advised on what to do back then.

I saw a decent question from a Republican talking about "promiscuity" and why the libs supposedly think it's ok.

.....Here's the difference between libs, and cons, concerning private times between two consenting adults!!......

In a free nation, the Libs believe that people can make their own moral choices.

The Republicans want legislate morality on people while claiming freedom.

It's that simple.

The Church/State argument
If you know me, you know that I am not an overly religious man. Further, you know I refuse to identify with any particular organized religion. However, I am a christian. Nor do I approve of governing by religion, or forcing my, my family or my children to support ANY religion, or non-religion. But, I am getting real tired of this argument being on the forfront of political conversations. In my mind, it has absoutly no bearing on elections, governance or the price of rice in China. I get tired of this question

How and When did we citizens allow religion to slip into our politics and government. Here is my answer:

"...the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them" - From the Declaration of Independence - the very document that gave conception to the US as a country, and began the process of severing ties with the Monarchy of England.

As an Army brat and law student I am pretty familiar with Army JAG, but I still have a few questions I would like answered by someone more knowledgeable, that is not a recruiter.
1) As a JAG, what are my chances of being sent to Iraq? What if I am also Airborne and Ranger qualified, how much would that increase my chances?
2) If I were to be deployed to Iraq, how long would my tour be?
3) There are about 10 domestic bases (Fort Lee, Fort Hood, Fort Lewis, Fort Bragg, Fort Carson, Fort Eustis, Fort Belvoir, Fort Monroe, Fort Meyer, Fort Story) I would not mind being assigned to and I would not mind being assigned to Germany or Italy either. What are the chances I would get one of these locations as my first assignment? How likely is it that I could spend 10 years in and only be assigned to these locations?
4) How many hours a week does a JAG really work?
5) How hard is it to get assigned to Airborne and Ranger school as a JAG?

Thanks for the help guys.

I live in North Carolina. There is a very good chance that a Judgment may be entered against me for a little less than $3000 dollars. I know that it is illegal for creditors to garnish wages in NC, but I have heard that they can seize your bank account and any property that is in your name. My question is: What exactly can they legally seize with a Judgment? House? Car? Personal belongings? I'm just not sure exactly what the laws are for this sort of thing in NC. Any help would be much appreciated.
