I don't know, but I have no reason to believe that the 2000 election was not fair. They did a recount and he still had the majority. In 2004, I voted for him. I don't regret it either. I mean, he's made his share of mistakes like everyone else, but I don't think he lied or intentionally messed anything up. He has handled what was placed before him as well as could be expected. The Iraq war isn't going that well, but I think it was justified at the time based on the intelligence and the numerous UN resolutions Saddam Hussein violated before the war. Even the Clintons argued in favor of the war (Bill did argue for the use of force in Iraq when he was in office, and Hillary did when she voted to authorize the war). Good night!

As a resident of Louisiana, I take exception to anyone placing the blame on President Bush for the poor response to the hurricanes. It was the fault of our incompetent governor, the mayor of New Orleans, and the rich buffoons who built New Orleans on the coast 15 feet below sea level that the storm caused so much chaos there. I didn't vote for our governor, but she did get a big push from the media because she was to be the first woman governor in our state's history. Many people suspect that part of the reason she refused to ask the federal government for assistance is because she wanted to show that she could handle the situation on her own. That attitude, combined with her own incompetence, led her to contribute to the disaster the hurricanes brought us. I hope she does not get reelected, but it's quite possible. After all, mayor Nagin did get reelected (probably due to some racial factors). Good night!

I don't think that there has ever been a fair election and the votes probably were miscounted. Both parties steal votes and Bush probably won Florida by more than what the official count was. And yes, I like President Bush. I completely disagree with his immigration policy and the growt of government but I agree with his stance on social issues and he has handled the war better than anyone else could.

I don't like Bush. I don't want to get into why because that would take all day. As for the election, honestly, who knows. I don't think we will ever truly know what happened. That race was so close, it was enough for me to know that there were plenty of people out there who didn't care for him.

I can take him or leave him- personally. As President, I think he's among the worst we've ever had. (& NO- the 2000 Election wasn't "fair"... -but then, nothing is.).

I think the president is tough man. He should launch war on terrorism, and kill terrorists one by one.
