One term & you're done. No more Ted Kennedy's & no more Liebermans. No one would be in Congress/Presidency long enough to become corrupt and many more Normal Americans would be able to run and serve and isn't that what democracy is all about?

This person said that if we are to leave the civil war we should send the Iraq Nationals living in the USA back to live in Iraq. The reason was offered that the nationals would be a represenative of our society. They would be good for thier country and could field the democracy we Americans live in. Does this make sense to you?

Its almost like mexicans want to be gringoes on one hand (spanish) and then hate gringoes on the other (americans). Is very very ironic.

If you are Mexican dont say you are spanish because you have 1 spanish ancestor and 3000 aztec ancestors. You are denying who you really are, INDIANS.

River Run Homeowners association in Naperville -- fined my mother $50.00 for having a basketball hoop on her drive that isn't up (it's winter). As far as I'm concerned, they're not fining everyone else with sports equipment on their drives -- and even if they were, this seems ridiculous and not even legal (it's our property, on our driveway, how can we be fined for this?).

Any advice would be great!

If we are on the edge of WW3 and Islam appears to want to impose their brand of justice, society and values, who are you going to stand behind? Being a Christian, a Jew, a Sik, a Buddist, gay/ lesbian, woman.....where will you be slotted in their society? Will you be put to death, slavery or pay taxes to the Islamic Governments?

But they are happy to endlessly deploy volunteer soldiers and let Bush's budget cut veteran's benefits ? Its said that Hitler used to draw the curtains in his personal railroad car, when it stopped next to troop or hospital trains.

We in the United States have a Constitution which has a system of "checks and balances" to make sure we don't have to live under an honor system. But if those in power, the administration, the majority of Congress, the Supreme Court and many lower court judges, don't care that our nation is doing unconstitutional things every day (I can give many examples of both conservative and liberal programs which are unconstitutional), and the voters don't care enough to vote for new parties or, in the majority, even to vote, are we living under a dishonor system? A system with strict rules in place and the means to enforce them, but in which all of those positions have been filled by people who agree not to follow the rules?

It once stood as a welcome mat to immigrants, but now that we are so xenophobic in this country that we don't want anyone who isn't a Caucasian white-collar American citizen with a six figure (or higher) income, why not demolish the Statue of Liberty so that people from other countries know that the "huddled masses yearning to be free" are no longer welcome in our country?

weapons program (N. Korea)?

It could totally ruin the Neo cons/AEI Iran invasion plans that they were hoping would make up for their Iraq disaster. If Bush can go 2 for 2 with stopping N. Korea/Iran nukes thru diplomacy he might actually save at least part of his legacy and the Neo cons would be finished. Might Bush actually be ignoring his neo con handlers & listening to anti neo con Gates?

I know that in Texas if you hit someone on private property, like in a private parking lot (on a University campus), you aren't liable for anything. It's like that in New Mexico too. But, do you know if the law is the same for private property accidents in Oklahoma?

I couldn't believe it. Middle east news agencies said that the US is paying 10,000$ to each Kurd that moves to Kirkurk, regardless of what the media is saying the middle east knows the Turk omens are presently living there.

It also says that the constitution that was suppose to have been created by the Iraqis has a glitch in it that gives the Kurds the freedom to have a referendum for independence. Wow what a scenario, now it makes sense why they have cleared 13 villages to form another base in the North of Kirkurk. Well you know what this means WW3.

To make it worst President Bush's administration has not supported cancelling or delaying the vote. Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, a Kurd, has warned Turkey against interference. But Turkey has written in THEIR CONSTITUTION that they will go to war and will include all Muslim countries taking Iran, Syria and the rest of the Arab nations against the Kurds.
