I couldn't believe it. Middle east news agencies said that the US is paying 10,000$ to each Kurd that moves to Kirkurk, regardless of what the media is saying the middle east knows the Turk omens are presently living there.

It also says that the constitution that was suppose to have been created by the Iraqis has a glitch in it that gives the Kurds the freedom to have a referendum for independence. Wow what a scenario, now it makes sense why they have cleared 13 villages to form another base in the North of Kirkurk. Well you know what this means WW3.

To make it worst President Bush's administration has not supported cancelling or delaying the vote. Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, a Kurd, has warned Turkey against interference. But Turkey has written in THEIR CONSTITUTION that they will go to war and will include all Muslim countries taking Iran, Syria and the rest of the Arab nations against the Kurds.

The problem with these dividing ethnic groups is that they live together... if they all live in the same place, the only way for the matter to be settled is through the formation of a democratic government which respects the rights both of the majority and the minority... splitting Iraq into different countries based on ethnicity would involve either leaving a lot of people in a nation where they will be oppressed or taking them kicking and screaming out of their houses and sending them somewhere else... obviously unacceptable.

And the oil revenue is supposed to be equally divided among the provinces, but they're trying to find ways to get money into American pockets... seems that since a lot of infrastructure is being destroyed, the Iraqi government may ask American oil companies to "come save the day", pump the oil and take a big chunk of the profits for themselves.

The U.S. should not be building military bases in Iraq. It sends the wrong message... makes it seem like we're planning on a long stay.

I question the source, obviously.

World War Three already happened. It was called "The Cold War," by mistake. It's major battles included Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Palestine, etc.

This war, and WWII, and WWIII, were all just clean up from World War One, which was pretty much just clean up from the death of the Ottoman Empire.

As far as the Kurds, at least they don't jump in line to serve the first Muslim war lord that shows up on the scene. They have a sense of identity, have proven they can survive and create a functional economy and I wish them the best. You might say they have their shiite together.

The truth is Muslims all over the world have to fight all of the time. Name a conflict right now not invoiving Islam. It is not oil. It is corrupt Islamic regimes always being a victim. I say give the Muslims their own country and they can leave us all alone. But it would only be a minute and they would find some way to start fighting and somehow it would be Israel or the USA's fault.

Well, that's news to America.

But check out the Sibel Edmonds site (google it). The Israeli's have been building an alliance built by joining all the American-Turkey associations. They have completed the BTP pipeline in which Israel owns 25%. Remember that it is Israel that is out of oil, not the USA.

First of all,

Your wild assertion of the US paying people to move is unfounded and unproven. Secondly, your web site stated as viable proof is irrelevant in proving your point. Good try,, go back to class......
