Debra Dickinson (a black writer) says he's doesn't have the black American experience. She even said that on Stephen Colbert's show. What is going on?

"Barack Obama would be the great black hope in the next presidential race -- if he were actually black."

i got a phone call from this law firm whom left a message saying they want to talk to me about my father and stated his full name. they seem to know my full name, too. i googled their phone number and what comes up is a website saying the collins law firm have called other people and they are basically a scam. so im really confused because does that mean they got your information from a REAL debt collector and it was passed onto them? so how can you tell whether or not you have a debt that needs to be taken care of if theres scamming going on? i know my dad has unpaid credit cards and changed his phone number so im wondering if he has a real debt and this party got ahold of his information and are just scamming for money or whether he really has a debt that needs to be paid. how do i go about resolving this?

Why can't Arnold run? If Hillary can carpetbag her way from Chicago to be a Senator in New York, why can't Arnold carpetbag from Austria to the USA?

Typical liberal double-standards!

The United States of America is not a democracy, and it never has been. We are a Republic, created that way by our Founding Fathers, and having continued that way since then. When Benjamin Franklin was asked what type of government the Founding Fathers had decided on, he said "A Republic, if you can keep it."

The one with Bob Woodward where he says that Tenet had the sixteen words about yellowcake pulled from a Cincinnati speech? Armitage says that Tenet was overruled by the White House when the words were used in the State of the Union address.

if they do not blindly follow what the government has been spoon feeding them?

Are people that narrow minded and brainwashed that they actually believe everything that the government and mainstream media says?

Have the American people been so "dumb downed" that they can not even think for themselves and actually question anything?

Sometimes I am amazed with the answers that some people on here actually give. It's as though they think...well the government said it, so it must be so.

So, back to my question. Why is it when people have a different point of view of another way of looking at something they are automatically "smoking wacky backy" (yeah that was an intelligent reply) or they are conspiracy theorist wack jobs?

I heard in the past few days that Chicago's city council has come up with the idea of adding a $0.50 tax to each cartidge sold in the city. Although their motivations might be to disuade criminals and gangsters from violence in the city, as well as raising revenue, I have to agree with some that have suggested that this is something other governmental agencies are going to pick up on and adopt too. Just another ploy for the anti-gun crowd to blame yet again another inanimate object for the irresponsible actions of others. Cars kill far more than guns every year, , no one should be allowed to own a car? Makes about as much sense.

After you get back from stocking up on ammo from your local sporting goods store, tell me of your thoughts.

No troops leave our soil. No products or money leaves our soil unless bought and paid for. No free aid or assistance of any kind to any one. No involvement with the U.N. just stepped out of the whole mess and said here you want us gone so badly....we're gone.

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he said:

"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... how many want out. Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:

1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom."
