OK crapslingers here's the truth. KBRSI is a wholly owned entity under Halliburton. KBRSI has what are called Service and Support Government Contracts; just like Lockheed Marting, Boeing and a number of Native Alaskan companies doing work in Iraq.
KBRSI was awarded the work under the LOGCAP contract by the Army Corps of Engineers in Task Order format to perform services such as logistics. The scope of work was such that only a company that possessed the financial capabilities to carry the cost of work for 90 days and the ability to hire thousands of employees over the next few months, mobilize them and get them into theater eliminated all other LogCap contractors including companies like LOG2020 and The Chugash of Alaska.
Now that the logistics are established, the work is being re-bid and awarded to other smaller companies and the KBRSI footprint is getting smaller. Understand the whole process, not just the Katie Couric Soundbites. Learn before you condemn. Henry Waxman has wasted more in tax dollars trying to find something wrong with KBRSI than was actually spent on some of the work in Iraq. I Know, I was a KBRSI employee from the get go of this contract while you losers were still riding your skateboards around 7-11.

Robbing the American taxpayer. Halliburton is the master, and as we have all seen, that is the main mission of this war.

Haliburton was used by every president since Reagan for repairing the infrastructure of war ravaged countries. Yes, Clinton used them, too.
