I doubt the list will be very long, The Republicans never do any thing to be convicted of, they always manage to lay it to the other party. As an example it was a shame how the other party cheated on the election and go Geo W elected in FL.

How about a list of people that are under investigations and those that should be.

The list of democrats under investigation in the Clinton admin. is too long to list. Might as well ask who isn't under investigation!
What about Sandy Burger stuffing classified documents down his pants.Clinton's pals either go to jail or end up dead!

The citizens for ethics link is a good link.

But I have to add, most of those listed are NOT Bush administration officials.

They are career government employees.

You can't really hold the President responsible for the misconduct of a career civil service employee.

When most people speak of corrupt administration officials, they are talking about officials appointed by the president. IE: cabnet members, aides, staffers.

How about this..... "Where is a list of ALL state/federal officials convicted while in office?" No sense in being partisan, a crook is a crook regardless of the party.

Why ONLY Republicans? Do you really think the democrats are guilt free?Criminal Politicians - Which Party Supports Them? Look what old Tom wrote and see what you think about your Democrats!!!!

Obviously, the lure of power attracts people to politics. If anyone thinks there are honest, altruistic politicians in Washington, he or she is naïve. Unfortunately, there are tens of millions of naïve people in America.

However, there is an important difference between lusting for power and actually breaking the law to obtain or retain power. Needless to say, there are many, many politicians in Washington who have crossed that line between disgusting, despicable power-mad politician and criminal deserving incarceration. I would bet my children’s lives that only a tiny fraction of the criminal politicians in American history have been caught and their crimes exposed. Undoubtedly, many, many more have escaped detection.

Does anyone believe that one of our two parties has more criminals than the other? You are an idiot if you do. Recently more Republicans have been caught breaking the law than have Democrats – but there were Democrats as well. The reason for that is obvious – the Republicans have controlled Congress. When you cannot affect policy, as the Democrats have been unable to do, you are offered fewer bribes. When the Democrats controlled Congress in the ‘80’s, they were the ones getting caught accepting bribes (remember Abscam et al?).

So, is one party worse than the other? I think so.

Since both are rife with criminals, rather than try to identify and count each party’s criminals to arrive at a Most Corrupt Party title, the more telling comparison is to examine what the parties do to those member criminals who are caught. In that comparison, the Democrats are the most despicable. Here are a few examples:

A Republican, Mark Foley, is caught emailing suggestive notes to young Congressional interns. His party forces him to resign and he’s run out of town. Compare that to the Democrat, Gerry Studds, who was actually BUFU-ing a young Congressional intern, resulting in his censor by the House. The Democrats give him a standing ovation in the House chamber – what an insult to every American – and they re-elected him for twelve more years. Another Democrat, Barney Frank, has a long relationship with a male prostitute (a crime) and uses his influence to get the man out of legal trouble. We’re talking about a self-admitted criminal. Again, Democrats laud the man and re-elect him over and over.

Does anyone know of a Republican criminal (modern era) who was re-elected once his crimes became known? None come to my mind.

How about Ted Kennedy? He's a criminal, albeit not convicted due to his family’s power and status in the Democratic Party. The minimal charge he should have been convicted of – criminally negligent homicide. Or how about “intoxication manslaughter?” He’s been re-elected so many times since then I’ve lost count.

Ever hear of Alcee Hastings? After being convicted in an impeachment hearing for accepting bribes, he was removed from his federal judgeship. The only reason he was not convicted in state court of criminal charges and sentenced to prison is because the man bribing him pled guilty and refused to testify against him. Soooo, what do you think Hastings and his partner in crime are doing today? Democrats elected Hastings to the US House. He was actually vying for the Chairmanship of the House Intelligence Committee under the new leadership. Imagine a convict in charge of our most sensitive secrets. And what of his partner? Bill Clinton pardoned him. Democrats have a way of protecting their own.

And now we have the latest example – William Jefferson, Democrat from Louisiana. Does anyone believe this man innocent of the corruption accusations made against him? Please, please, stand up and be counted. Send me an email; I want to know if there is someone so stupid. The man is a criminal. He was caught with the marked money given to him as a bribe. And the Democrats re-nominate him, and the Democrats in Louisiana re-elect him. He is scum and anyone who voted for him is a scum-lover.

Did you know that the criminal Democrats are trying to give other criminals the right to vote? Yep, under current laws, anyone convicted of a felony loses their right to vote. Makes sense right? Who wants anyone with a proven disregard for the laws of our land, and a proven disregard for the property and lives of others, having a say in those laws? Doesn’t it seem logical that such a person would change the laws to legalize their thievery and assaults? Not to the Democrats. They look to felons as a huge source of voter support – because they know that almost every felon would vote Democratic.

Go ahead, Google it! I didn’t take the time today although I have sent the links out to others (Jack, from George). I believe Democrats in Florida and D.C have introduced legislation enfranchising felons.
