Here is a question typed in ALL CAPS and with poor English skills. Maybe it’s time for our education system to live up to the standard that the American taxpayers expect. BUT I must admit. I thank you for not using slang, abbreviated words or ebonics. It shows you tired and you must be complimented for that.
To answer the completely biased question of race or gender in the United States White House Presidency. YES, There may be change on the horizon.
But what you have to look at are the statistics of these votes across all of America.
The last black man to run in an election campaign was ALAN KEYES.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Keyes
I voted for Mr. Keyes. A VERY educated and CHRISTIAN man with answers that he gave the American people about War, Reparations to the blacks, Protection of the Citizens of the United States of America, Protection of the Borders of this great country. He gained about 2% of the populace vote.
Remember. It was on the mind of the citizens of this GREAT COUNTRY of ours about illegal immigration in the 2004 Presidential primary election. Keyes told the people what he would do. NOT another candidate did.
Keyes gave the ANSWERS to questions like reparations to the black people by giving them Tax incentives to start businesses to become truly free. These incentives would have increased the overall wealth of the black population.
Did the BLACKS even VOTE for this man??? The BLACK VOTE in this country didn’t even stand behind one of its own.
When you PICK a person to LEAD this great country of ours you better not look at the colour of his skin. You better look at their heart… You ASK yourself as a CHRISTIAN if you want to vote for a person that goes against your RELIGIOUS and MORAL values.
You go to your PASTOR, PREACHER, or MINISTER and ask him what abortion is. Ask him if it is against the Bible.
You can NOT say, “Well this person is better for the black people because they will give us this and that but they turn their back to God’s law.”
Sometimes people campaign on all sides that have turned their back to God’s law.
You have to then choose who will be right for the nation as a whole. One who will lead and not follow. Leaders are hard to find today.
Personally I did NOT want Bush in the White House.
I voted KEYES,
I voted Clinton,
I voted for what I THOUGHT was right for all Americans.

Hello again!
I really like your questions, they seem to be well thought out.
Well, I would first like to say that I truly agree with you that it is time for a different type of governing in the United States. I feel that if given the chance and a black man or a woman actually betters this country then the world will be singing their praises. However, if not given the chance, then I guess will never know the capabilities of an intelligent and seemingly fair man or a intelligent and seemingly bold woman. I would love for Barack to become the next president of the United States of America or even Hillary for that matter. I guess time will tell and the hopefully the best person for the position will fill it.
There is so much I could get into on this topic but I don't want to seem like a racist or that I am against my country, but president bush is a looser and has caused a lot of unnecessary deaths and grief for someone who is suppose to know what he is doing. He is no different than the founding forethieves that cunningly stole every idea and every bit of land they could, and all in the name of Christianity. Things are about to be changing around here though and there ain't nothing anyone can do about it because change is inevitable.
Thank you for this wonderful question!

First of all, TYPING IN CAPITAL LETTERS IS CONSIDERED YELLING IN INTERNET TERMS AND IT IS HARDER TO READ.
Having said that, It doesn't matter much who is elected as long as the same old philosophy remains. I believe that the elected ones forget that they are SUPPOSED to work for us. As it turns out, the government has become a self perpetuating entity that is only concerned with it's own heiarchy and survival at its citizens expense.
We ate taxed, ruled and regulated to death. They believe that they can legislate anything to death and I feel sometimes "it" is at war with we common folk.
I wouldn't mind any good person getting the job regardless of race or gender. I don't want some wimpy limp wristed libera;l running the show. You must have the courage to do what is right for your conuntry, not what is right for your political career or agenda.
I would really love to see the common man go on a nationwide strike for 1 or 2 weeks just to get someone's attention and say "Hey, you people are supposed to be taking care of me. You work for me, I don't slave for you"
The older I get the more to the right I go. A black anything will not accomplish any more than anyone else has been able too. The two parties fight one another on almost everything. Doesn't matter that it may be a good move or not. We catagorically reject it because the other side suggested it.
If we would run this more like it was a business (which is really is, except they are accountable to no one), they would stop all the stupid stuff and take care of business.
If a qualified black person runs, I'll consider voting for them. If a woman runs (besides Hillary) I'll consider voting for her. I'm sorry but the Senator is too liberal. After we get neutered under that regime, Mexico could whip us.

If & only if a woman or a black is the best person to be president. Of the likely candidates, that is not the case. Voting FOR a person because of race or gender is just as bigoted as voting AGAINST a person for these reasons.

Colour and gender should be irrelevant in all aspects of life, as and discrimination based on gender is sexism and discrimination based on race is racism by definition. The most suitable candidate should be chosen or that which represents the people or is voted for the most.

race or sex should not be the issue. but with what the options are I believe neither obama nor hilary are fit for the job. Even the Austrailian high official criticized obama for his desire to see the U.S. lose the war in Iraq, nicknaming the democrats as the terrorist group of America, because they will do exactly what the terrorist want them to do, which is leave. or the democratic term "CUT AND RUN" like cowards. anyone who votes for these pathetic officials should be ashamed of themselves and do not have the right to call themselves Americans. Americans desire success at all costs. not failure. Republicans=success
Democrats=failure
we need people like President Bush who wants to win not fail.

You should be aware that all cap writing is truly annoying and a lot like yelling. Not cool. Yes, someday it will be nice to see african americans having more well deserved places in politics, and even better, some african american women! all in good time. unfortunatley there is still too much racism and sexism right now for any real and lasting change to take place. Lets get rid of even more of those old stuffy conservatives, create term limits, and pave the way for women and people of color to take their rightful places! Its important for you to understand that your vision of "christian unity" might have to change. Maybe it would be better to envision a brotherhood and sisterhood of people who will be unified regardless of spiritual differences. We will always need to keep church and state separate. Always.

I think it's time for a non-wealthy person to become president. For that matter, all the senators and representatives, too. I'm sick and tired of people who never NEEDED a job in their lives, making laws and doing other things that affect me.
Not all women would be good presidents. I'd vote for Hillary, but not for Condi.
Right now, I'm pulling for Barack Obama.
