Arnold wasn't born in the US and thus cannot be president.
"Section Five of Article II of the U.S. Constitution states that the President must be a natural born citizen of the United States (or a citizen of the United States at the time the U.S. Constitution was adopted), at least 35 years of age, and a resident of the United States for at least fourteen years."

As everyone has already pointed out, he was not born in the U.
S. which is a requirement but why would you think he was qualified in the 1st place? Ronald Reagan was an actor too, but he also served as a Union President for years before becoming Governor of California. Arnold is learning politics the hard way and he's not doing to well at it.
Who are these oxymoron's that keep using the term liberal (as if they knew what it meant). The question asked had nothing to do with Liberal, Conservative or Right wing religious freaks. You idiots should look up the word in the dictionary. It has nothing to do with Schwarzenegger becoming President.

Arnold can't run for president, or ever BE president. He isn't a natural born American citizen, and one must be to be president of the USA. I like him too, but breaking the law just because we Reps adore him, isn't reason enough to let him run. What if a Liberal evil Muslim, who was born in Iran wanted to run for president, at some later date??? (I don't mean Obama, though he is close). I would have to agree that that foreign American hater had the same right to run for president as our good Republican Arnold did, or else it would be a double standard. So, no, I love ya Arnie, but you can't. American Law, says NO!

The fact that Arnold can't run for President is not liberals. Is actually the law. You can only be a USA naturally born citizen dummy.

Maybe it is a liberal double standard.
The qualifications for the office of the President are laid out in the Constitution, and that was written by a pretty liberal crowd.

He can't he is not a native born citizen.
Sorry.
Even though at this point it's not like he could care any less about the people of this country than someone who was born here.

I think you need to study American History. You have to be a native born that means born within the United States of America.
Sorry just the way our forefathers thought it should be.

No he wasn't born in the USA. I wouldn't trust somebody that wasn't born here to have only the USA best interest at heart. I was not born here I was born in Europe. I personally would not have problem bombing the crap out of Europe if it threatened the USA but most people would have a problem with going to war with their home country. I personally would not vote for anybody who's parents weren't born here let alone the candidate him or herself.

The constitution says he can't run, it has nothing to do with "liberal double standards".
