For once I have heard a politician make sense of something. He said that the resolution to state opposition to Bush's plan was great for once major reason. It is going to force congress to take a stand...either for or against this. And that is what the US people deserve.....to know where their senators stand once a for all. What do you think about that?

The Dea raided our house and found almost 400 plants and all the equipment needed for the hydroponic setup. Suprisingly enough, after handcuffing the four of us, in the end they only took my guy and his partner and let us girls go. My boyfriend did have priors for possession of small amont of marijuana in the past. How much time do you think he will get? What are the louisianna laws for this?

Most mass media companies run under a theory easily called the Lippman theory. What Lippman, who was hired by Woodrow Wilson, decided was that the media should be left up to the extremely intelligent, and what is told to the public should be decided by these intelligent people.

With only 5-6 different cooperations running 90% of the worlds media... What do you think is going on? They are agreeing on what to tell you.

Think of it this way. Rupert Murdoch (Fox) bought Myspace, but they are advertising an NBC television show. NBC is a rival (So called "Liberal") news company owned by Bob Wright.

Time Warner (CNN) and Fox both have affiliations with each other as well. Ain't that some sh*t? Check out their 10 year affiliation deals.

My friend and I were stopped in front of a bar on "suspicion of public intoxication" --it was clearly a sting. Nevermind the illegality of their sting, when they detained us they confiscated my .38 special and a .22 short barrel pistol I was carrying. They never did file charges for public intoxication (no evidence), but they haven't returned my guns. What is the process for getting them back?

I'm asking this question for a friend of mine in NYC. She allowed a friend from college to move into her spare bedroom in April. This person was not added to her lease. They then proceeded to only pay their portion of rent sporadically while going on carribean vacations. They also were a complete slob and caused a rodent infestation in the apartment.

My friend discovered she was two months pregnant in September. She told her roommate and informed them that they needed to relocate by December 31st. Her "roommate" has yet to move out of her home and told her at her babyshower that it wasn't her fault my friend got knocked up, she can't find an affordable place and she is not leaving til she does. She also claimed that my friend can't throw her out because she has since repaid all the back due rent. But he isn't on the lease. How can my friend get this person out of her home before her children's birth? What are the laws in NYC? What rights does this person have?

My brother (26) is on medication and talked with stranger a 10year old female by grabbing on her hand, someone who saw this called police and police after found out he was on medication, but still they(police) filed case. now he has been charged for disorderly conduct. My brother can’t work or live by himself. He said he didn’t even recognize she was a 10 year old. We don’t have money or gas to travel 700 miles for his court appearance. What we have to do?

WIth windmills they complain about bird migration patterns. With nuclear energy they complain about nuclear waste and now about the reactors being terrorist targets. With hydroelectric they complain about fish mating patterns. With solar power they complain about how the large space needed for the panels encroaches on desert wildlife.

So when none of these projects passes muster because some local environmental group shut them down with political pressure, we get stuck using the same amount of fossil fuels.

Why don't liberal environmentalists see that they are winning the battles but losing the war? Missing the forest for the trees?

They they get in to office and it never happens.
Hiliary Clinton is already claiming she wants universal health care etc.etc. It's the same old promise made by her husband, and also Pres. Bush, they all say it to get elected and it never happens why don't we hold them accountable and ask them to agree that if it doesn't get done within the first two years in office they will step down?
