Did you hear Chuck Hagle's (R-Neb) comments?

Question

For once I have heard a politician make sense of something. He said that the resolution to state opposition to Bush's plan was great for once major reason. It is going to force congress to take a stand...either for or against this. And that is what the US people deserve.....to know where their senators stand once a for all. What do you think about that?

I know that he is going to probly seek the Rep nomination for pres...which make the timing for this breakaway convenient, however the statement still rings true...it will be good to know where they stand.

I'm fine with that. It would be nice for our government to take actions instead of the usual political games and talking, bickering, moaning, complaining and criticizing that get absolutely nothing accomplished. But then again, that is still talk from Chuck Hagel. Let's just wait and see what actually happens. Only time will tell. I'm not saying I'm for Democrats or Republicans. Because both parties are to blame for this.

Sounds good, but Hagle's probably going to run for the Repub. Presidential nomination, so what he's saying is politically expedient!

'Shame and Blame' will be the slogan of the day for the nay-sayers if this plan works.

Never heard of him. I did hear Senator Nagel ripping himself away from the die hard Bush supporters to say, this surge is wrong.
