They had it a hell of a lot better before we came along. We're just lucky we wiped them out almost totally, so they cant rebel and take THEIR land back. And the bills are not that much becasue they are so few. Think of it as hush money and GET OVER it!

what you are saying Smacks of some serious Racism! I think you need to check History and Know that this was their land First and were literally wiped out to the point of extinction. Every Treaty except current ones were in fact broken. America hasn't given the children and great-grand children of slaves their 40 acres and a mule either! Restitution is in order! Most live on Poverty Striken Reservations and are not rich either. Most have still served in the United States Military, What about you? I hope some of My people open a Casino and some other Businesses Near You, Real Soon!

hey immigrant, the white man stole our land, killed off most of our people, and put us on a reservation, I think we have the longest living contract there has ever been. As far as the DEAD BEATS< who come across the border, want to marry the whites, just to get legal, because your to lazy to clean up your homeland, to Hell with You. At least we pretty well keep to ourselves, and don't stray, as far as hand outs, We Work for what we get, and we don't always want the whitemans medicine, Some our our own work better anyway.
So before you speak with a forked tongue again, look further into the facts. The The Iranians, Arabs, Chinese, all others come into this country, they get a home, a business, food stamps, tax exemption for 5 years, the tribes have a very small piece of land. Yahoo.

The American Indian has a much better claim to "your" tax dollars than Most (not all ) welfare recipients.
As for the "good life".....Many reservations would not qualify as a ghetto, unemployment is huge, alcohol rampant (because of despair) and they live in country that encourages them to forget their heritage.
A few do indeed have the good life, mineral rights, casinos, being their ticket to prosperity. Not your tax dollars!!!!
After the "trail of tears" maybe they deserve a break.

Ummm...their land was taken? They were here before any of us? I have some friends that are Native American. One chick is having a lake house built in Oklahoma for close to nothing. They get a lot of benefits due to their heritage-it's only right.

I personally don't like the idea of some people feeding on other people's taxes. They should get a job. Sheesh. In Canada, they're like "it's our land" but then when it comes to it, it was the people back in the day that made the deal, not us! So why do they get to bite off people's taxes when they don't work? It's the truth. There are lazy people out in the world. And I don't like the idea of them getting free stuff. Why don't they work like the others too? THAT IS UNFAIR! They are getting too much rights and stuff like that. I'm not stereotyping and saying all of them are like that, but I'm just saying. I'm also saying that most are like that.

Don't know where you are getting you information from but most of what you've said is not true. A lot of tribes are self governance and have nothing to do with the government.

They are Americans. OUR people are the reason the services exist, of course we expect OUR people to use them. If any of us suffer a crises and need them we expect them to be there for US, too, which won't be the case if they are drained by those with no right to be here.
