Why is "work/employed" a touchy subject with the "left"?

When you don't want to do something (like clean your house all day for example) you HATE to hear the word WORK.

When you have never HAD a job - you don't know how to intelligently DISCUSS them so therefore you resort to calling names to DEFLECT attention from the job discussion so no one will know you do not know ANYTHING about jobs and employment.

(example - normal person with job making a point..." Inner city unemployment rate is higher than the suburbs" - lazy person on welfare to normal person "you're a racist" Doesn't that sound typical lib-talk to you?

It's because handouts is what keeps the liberals in office and in business. Not handouts paid for with their money I might add.
Back when Most American were on farms and working ,the liberal democrats (and I am sad to say the liberal southrern democrat led the charge in disguise) worked out a welfare system that worked two ways. They figured they could give out comodies to the poor farm labours and this would take a load off of the big farmers back as farm workers could not live on the sad salaries they received. They would subsidized farm labour with comodies, of a few bags of rice, canned meat accasionaly, cheese, flour, cornmeal, beans,. peas . This worked so well for the politicians in getting votes that they went futher and arranged for welfare payments which hep the poor mover off of th farms and into town with electricity and running water (eventually).
So this created adbandment of the farms for the cities whenre poor no longer had to work, just get by on comodies, low rent, (or no rent usually) and enough welfare to pay for lights and maybe junior a pair of shoes. They went even futher and added health benefits and once the hospitas and doctors saw this golden calf the flood gates would never shut.
That is how we arrived in the pitiful condition we are no in with welfare where those on social security have already had it stolen during the vietnam war, and welfare reciptent suffer no more as they are in the land of plenty.
Work employed is taken to mean you are are racist and must not like anyone who expects to be paid for nothing.

If you mention work employment the liberal left are sure you are demeaning blacks, mexicans, immigrants, ect.

Unlike the RedsStaters that all make over $1million dollars a year. Most liberals are hard working blue collar labor with no benefits health care of pension plan. Our Redpublican employers threaten us constantly with reduced hours and wage cuts to finance executive salary increases.

Sure it's a touchy subject our job could be in China in a heartbeat.

I do not understand your question. Are you implying that liberals do not work? If so that is a stupid question. As a liberal I worked my way through school, held two jobs to pay fr my child's health care, and paid off my student loan. Which is more that GW did. Conservative Bush could not even manage his time for the National guard.

Because "the left" want people to be reliant on big government and lose our freedom.

The left believes:

-If you don't want to work, let everyone else cover you
-If you want to sneak in the country illegally, use up social security and welfare when you don't pay taxes, and use identity theft to work it is your right
-If you work hard, you are greedy and should pay more taxes.

It is because of deliberate wage slavery. Work is respected, not being paid enough for doing it is not.
