Most mass media companies run under a theory easily called the Lippman theory. What Lippman, who was hired by Woodrow Wilson, decided was that the media should be left up to the extremely intelligent, and what is told to the public should be decided by these intelligent people.
With only 5-6 different cooperations running 90% of the worlds media... What do you think is going on? They are agreeing on what to tell you.
Think of it this way. Rupert Murdoch (Fox) bought Myspace, but they are advertising an NBC television show. NBC is a rival (So called "Liberal") news company owned by Bob Wright.
Time Warner (CNN) and Fox both have affiliations with each other as well. Ain't that some sh*t? Check out their 10 year affiliation deals.
You're getting your news from all the same people!

Media watchdogs for the media
Robert ("Bob") Charles Wright (born 1943) is a U.S. television businessman. He graduated from Chaminade High School, the College of the Holy Cross and obtained also a LLB from University of Virginia Law School.
He was named president and CEO of NBC in 1986. In 2001, he became chairman and CEO. In May 2004, NBC's parent company, General Electric, acquired Vivendi Universal Entertainment to create NBC Universal. Bob Wright is currently chairman and CEO of the new company. He also is vice chairman of GE.

Rupert Murdoch is a conservative.
General Electric owns NBC and is a major defense contractor, where do you get Bob Wright from?
Time Warner is a huge corporation.
CBS and ABC are owned by huge corporations true..
Big corporations are by no means liberal and they may own 90% of the media in the US but not in the World.
Other than that you make some excellent points.

First, your question itself is nonsense. Fox is owned by News Corporation (Murdoch) and all News Corp publications, stations, etc. are rigidly conservative. As New Corp is, by many measures, the largest media company in the world, it is clearly rubbish to state that all mass media is liberal. The fact that they may use each other as advertising outlets is, to my mind, quite irrelevant and seems like sensible business practice. You see rivals co-operating in all sorts of areas of business and this is nothing different.
Second, your text is a complete non-sequitur to your headline. You start off by saying all mass media is liberal and then totally fail to support that statement in any way in the ensuing text.

You're confusing liberal with northeast media. Yes, New York City is the center power of all the media outlets in the country. Although CNN is in Atlanta, NYC is still the mecca of America's news. And in NYC the only thing that counts is money. Money. Money. Money. Nothing else.

YES!!! lol and then the conservatives or moderates are like "Hey, thats not right!" and get called narrow-minded and idiots. . . We kinda like this whole free thinking society.
Liberals are the ones who are narrow-minded and will not ever successfully listen to the other side of an argument.

The media is a business, and, like any business, it will only sell what people are willing to buy.
