I'm just wondering if anyone has info on lobbiests? exact figures, theories on their political corrrectness, or any thing like that? Even a really specific deffinition on what they acttualy do, or know about any laws concerning them, it would be a great help? thanx

I have 4 kids ages 1, 3, 5 and 6. I am a newly single Mom, and so am getting on my feet again......My gas bill was due on Tuesday, well this morning I woke up and had NO GAS!

The heaters in my house are Gas only!! I emailed and phoned, and was told the same thing "Shoulda paid your bill on the day it was due!" Well I couldn't pay it until this morning....but now they want all sorts of "reconnection charges" and I only have enough $$$ for the original bill!!! They won't reconnect it without getting the reconnect charge. Also won't make payment arrangements with me cause I have no history with this Company.

We've just had a horrible 2 day Ice storm and it's 25 degrees outside, with the weather not due to warm up anytime soon.

HELP!!! Can I do ANYTHING to them?!?!
I have nowhere else to go with my kids and keeping them bundled up isn't helping!

This morning a sherriff came into a court where I was waitiing to see what happened at an arraginment of a friend. As there was question of too many people the sherriff cleared out everyone who did not have to be there to speak to the judge, in effect making it a closed hearing from the public. While this was an arrainment and not the actual hearing, is this still legal?

I have a few questions for you guys the first one is do you feel that it was worth you getting into law enforcement.

I am a based in the south I know that there are a lot of racists sometimes in the force and also politics and stuff and me being black, how much do you think I will be affected by racism in the force and how is it dealing with the politics.

Last question if you are going to school studying to further your career in law enforcement, how is the scheduling. Do you work with you if you are going to school, and Do you get fired for not making your speeding ticket quotas.


I know these are quite a bit of questions, please help me.

If someone leaves an item for cleaning lets say a suit or soemthing. Or leaves something at a repair shop to be fixed and does not come to claim it.

How long do you have to hold onto it before you can sell it, without worrying about that person coming back to claim it.

I have such an item and it's been 3 years. Phone calls are not returned and registered mail goes unanswered also.

What I am seeing is a "Hang on little buddies! We will work hard to ensure that American takes absolutely no steps that might lead to any sort of positive outcome or victory in this situation". God forbid we should even make a token effort now to defeat the insurgency. Impeach Bush?? Hell, I say Impeach Congress, for treason.
