Bush-backers counter Bush-bashers with this fact. Does that hold water in your opinion?

If you are part of a political dynasty you can go to any school, make any grades, and have any degree you want regardless of how stupid.

So no, that counter claim holds no value whatsoever. The man is just plain dumb. This is clearly observable, there really is no argument.

no matter if you compromise with honorary tiers isn't a element in the equation.also no longer in the equation is a snub in accordance with who you're on the topic of.i'm positive you've better than one relative you'll opt for to distance your self from.you also mean that he donated buttloads of money the the college, erroneously. Now onto your question.i imagine this isn't some thing better than partisan politics at it truly is worst.for the time of his years as governor of Florida, the college of Florida benefitted from his administration's guidelines and that would want to favor to be the overriding element in this selection. An honorary degree is thanks and is recognizing the contributions that were made by your efforts.i imagine that the college will honor him at a later date.

Well, yes it is a factor in his favor. Intellectually, he's a smart guy. He certainly did better academically than Kerry did.
I think Bush's problem has been, and continues to be twofold:
1- He's overly loyal to his staff. It's pretty much accepted that his SecDef and VP should've gone in 2003/4. Interesting, because one of his role models is Sir Winston Churchill, a guy who never let loyalty interfere with firing incompetents.
2- He doesn't like to hear contrary opinions, or admit mistakes. The result of that is, what we've been seeing: lack of REAL discussion. I'm convinced if after the revelations of the misuse of intelligence by Cheney and other, he'd admitted to the American people that "mistakes were made, and they're my responsibility" his popularity would be much higher.

Have you heard how he mangles the english language ? And despite his degree Bush graduating from an Ivy League school probably isn't one of the university's proudest moments. But then money talks, when inspiration and being a crummy student and hard work doesn't.

I would say if has to be reasonably intelligent. I don't think you get as far as he has and be a complete retard. I think Bush just isn't very articulate about what he wants to say. He is smart enough, he just isn't that good of a speaker.

Yeah, rense and infowars are real legitimate sources. I believe one word comes to mind when I read anything they have to say: PROPAGANDA.

Yes, this has been investigated and disappointed the News Media.
Bush's grades and IQ were quite a bit higher than Gore's & Kerry's.

Honorary degrees are just "thanks for coming to the party" awards. If you hold high office, you'll get tons of them.

I won't sniff at his earned degree. His "free" commission from airman to 2nd lieutenant wasn't earned, though.

I met dumb people in college. They're everywhere in the job market. A degree does not equal wisdom or reason.
