What I am seeing is a "Hang on little buddies! We will work hard to ensure that American takes absolutely no steps that might lead to any sort of positive outcome or victory in this situation". God forbid we should even make a token effort now to defeat the insurgency. Impeach Bush?? Hell, I say Impeach Congress, for treason.

Because the Congress is controlled by Liberals and Liberals cannot stand to see America succeed or look good in the eyes of the world. Liberals depend on their constituents feeling that they are down-trodden so if we fail, the atmosphere in the U.S. will be bad and the Liberals can use that in their campaign rhetoric.

its like all of a sudden? bush has been running this war like he has run everything else he has done, and it all ends in failure, we should have gotten out of there by now, its a failed war you cant blame the congress for that
