I'll accept that Bush Sr. is responsible for the first WTC bombing if you'll accept that Clinton was responsible for 911. You don't get to have it both ways. And the majority of the left won't admit Clinton's responsibility for 911 at all.

Ultimately, it's a failure on the part of the US government since back in the days of Reagan. And finally, GWB is dealing with terrorism the way it should have been dealt with back then.

While it isn't really his fault, Clinton affirmatively chose to treat terrorists like criminals rather than an enemy at war, which meant essentially that they had a freer hand in planning. Is there some evidence that suggest Bush Sr. did anything similar?

The same reason George W. Bush allowed Hurricane Katrina to hit New Orleans, the same reason that Herbert Hoover allowed the stock market to crash and the same reason FDR allowed the Japanese to bomb Pearl Harbor. They simply do not control what happens. I swear people act like presidents are kings or gods. They aren't responsible for every disaster that happens and conversely they shouldn't be given credit for every thing that goes right. It's more to do about luck then sound policy or decisions.

You make it sound like Mr Bush gave his permission to do so.Clinton is the one that was on watch when it was being planned...Bush walked into Clinton's mess. He had to clean up after his predecessor. It didnt all come to fruition in 38 days.
Actually, by Clinton getting head, he allowed it to happen, because he was too busy trying to cover it up and sweep it under Hillary's rug

Your brain is slipping in the mud of liberal lies and misinformation. Bush Sr. "allowed" nothing of the kind. Clinton's a treasonous communist with no loyalty to America.

When Bush Sr. left office he left information on the terrorists for Clinton. Clinton didn't have the balls to do anything. Plain and simple.

He didn't. That was arranged by Tip O'Neill and Teddy Kennedy after the Terrorists bribed them with a bottle of Scotch, and it wasn't even good Scotch.

I've asked this very question. Guess what? No Conservative ever answers! They fail to see the similarity of the argument.
~~Above: Clinton DID leave information, plenty of information, for George W. Bush.
