You can fly any flag you wish half mast below the stars and stripes at full mast in America this isn't a crime at all. The South fly their Confederate flag all the time, and America kicked their butt back prehistoric age when the North won Americas Civil War.

Well, maybe their are some idiotic political parties that try to use it as their identity, like the BNP at their manifesto launch to send a message, quite rightly the people have taken it back in most areas of England. I had one in my car today along with many others, and it had no hidden agenda but to celebrate St George's Day, like Steph, there were flags outside many pubs and businesses where I am. Oldham is just a bit behind the times I'd guess. Griffin is ruining St George's Day choosing it to make his manifesto pledges..a cheap shot typical of his style of politics. If he stands for the BRITISH national party, why doesn't he use the Union Flag? Because he knows he'll be in for it if he does.

The people of Britain are entitled to fly any flag they choose. Some like the flag of St.George, others prefer something from Africa or the W.Indies, while others prefer their old home nation flag, Pakistan.

Strangely, the only flag you are not allowed to fly from your house of car, is the Union Flag or Jack.

There are many more flags in England of English origin than the flag of St.George. Most counties have their own flags and there are dozens of flags for English saints.

My St. George`s flag fly`s happily outside my house everyday and I`ve not had any complaints. Even if I did, I`d ignore the idiots.

This idea was dusted out several years ago. the problem was a local council and it was a pub that was flying the flag. However the people came out in the pub's favour, even the Asians and other minorities in the area and as far as I know the problem has never been encountered again.

You can fly the St George flag, and indeed, some Indians and Pakistanis do when there is a cup final.

I fly the flag, every April23rd. "St George's day"

Not because I am a racialist, I'm not!

Fly your Union Jack (I think that's what the British flag is called) with pride. There are those in English govt. that parallel our liberals in their disdain for their country.
I've wondered for a while what British school kids are told about our Revolution against the King? Cornwallis was a great British hero. What were you told about his surrender?

Who by and when? I don't think that is the case - there were hundreds of flags on cars the last time England played. If it is illegal it's a stupid law because people are ignoring it.

You can fly any flag you want in America, but it cannot fly higher than the stars and strips. Fly a pirate flag for a couple of days and be happy.
