With MLK Day just past, I wonder about the race issue in a potential Obama presidential campaign. Is there a distinction (based on deep seated prejudice) that Obama is somehow *different* than the rank and file of US black people, because his father was directly from east Africa, and so has little/none of the historical and cultural baggage associated with American slavery, Civil War, Reconstruction, Jim Crow laws, the civil rights era, etc.?

Think you're fighting the corperations by using Yahoo, Google, Dell computers, riding the bus, driving your car to work, using Windows, blah, blah blah blah?

If it weren't for you, the consumer, they'd be nothing. So stop blaming them for everything!

for a ticket I received and didn't pay from more than ten years ago!
I never got any ticket at all; the ticket was for "violation of title" where supposedly my license plate was not the right one for the car that was being driven -
This was before they made it mandatory to turn in your license plates on a dead car - instead of keeping them in a box somewhere in your garage! Obviously, someone stole my old license plate, put it on a car, and then was stopped by the police - all of this, unknown to me, until I received this legal notice today.
I quess the driver, whoever they are, let the cop just think it was me. What should I do?? Is there a statute of limitations for that stuff in PA?? Why would they wait for ten years before threatening me to take my drivers license unless I pay them $350.00??? If they did this 10 yrs ago, the cop would know it wasn't me he stopped. now what do i do?????

First of all, why aren't we fighting "them" here right now? Are ALL of "them" busy in Iraq, and won't be free to fight us until we lose there? Is that really how terrorism works?

Secondly - even if we declare victory in Iraq - won't that leave a government backed by Moqtada al Sadr and Iranian-backed fundamentalists in charge of the world's second largest oil supply?

Are you SO sure we'll never have to fight THEM?

Was John F. Kennedy justified in bringing the U.S. and the Soviet Union to the brink of nuclear war over the placement of nuclear weapons on Cuba?

If the United States has the right to own nuclear weapons, should not Cuba also have that right?

If so, what did you talk about - did they give satisfactory answers, or did they leave you more confused than before?

If not, why don't you? It's quite a liberating feeling, venting ones frustrations at the very cause of them, as well as being your God-given right, of course!

Be interesting to see the responses to this.

Shouldn't I watch Fox News too ? That way I could determine for myself if some are biased and others not .

Or should I LIMIT my viewing to only Liberal Approved Media ?
I want to make sure that I abide by all the new laws being passed by the Democrats . And they scare me, cause they have all the power to tell people what to do .

We always heard about how "great" commie medicine was. Then their glorious leader, Fidel Castro gets sick and flys a Spainish doctor in to treat him. Bwahahaha!

Yea, commie medicine rocks...err, apparently!

What exactly are we fighting for????

A She'a win is a victory for Iran
A secular win is a invitation for decades of conflict
A Suni win is embarrasing to America but pleasing to the Saudi
The Kurds are happy no matter what happens.

I live in Pennsylvania and I have an absolutely impossible neighbor who calls the police on me and my family at least 2-3 times per week, claiming everything from noise violations to child abuse. She even called the Department of Human Services claiming that my son was living in squalid conditions while we had loud drunken parties. DHS came out and found nothing remarkable. She's trying to get me evicted but I can't understand why, seeing as how we've never had any altercations with her before this. What to do?

We are a music related company in Atlanta, GA who works with local universities each semester to provide us with Interns. These students get college credit for their work. We have new candidates who want to work here but are not enrolled in a school program. Can we have them work here for nothing? Is that legal?

Not in the long run. In primate societies the game is to defeat the Alpha Male and rule. The USA is the alpha male nation to be defeated.
We WILL NEVER BUY PEACE BY RETREATING.
The US dealt successfully with Germany and the Soviet Union, let's hope we can defeat Islamic terrorism.
