I heard it had nothing to do with her disbelief in Cryonics but it was leverage to get her way back into the will. Does anyone have info on this? Because that's exactly what raising the minimum wage will do.

Its simple really. If people pay more to make things, then they will charge more for those things. Having to pay more for things raises the cost of living.

At the same time, many businesses will be put under an immediate financial strain causing them to lay off workers.


I actually support Bush's idea to raise the minimum wage as long as it is coupled with tax cuts. Hopefully the tax cuts would be enough to cover both the cost of living increases and potential job loss.

At best raising the minimum wage will maintain the status quo.

If we pulled out of iraq 100% could we consider the progress we made a victory? We got rid of saddam and now the country is in a civil War not much concerned with the US well except for the ones that are there. Just interested in what the general public things.
