all these offers of full compensation for injuries, they may sound good but thats what is agreed between the lawyers from both sides after sitting down for a meal or drinks the deciding what you get, of corse you get all that they decide then agree a fat fee for each other which is as much and mainly more than you get. unfair and unethical I think.

in the wrong one. But I've always wondered what started the great depression. I know the stock market fell. That means prices went down, right? (I wish gas prices would go down) but at any rate, does anyone know what caused the market to fall? Was it a rumor about bad bananas (LO!!)? I mean, what was it that caused the market to fall in the first place?

They blame Bush for everything, yet no president ever makes decisions on his own.
Decisions are mostly made after they have been agreed upon by hundreds of military and political advisors, many of whom are considered brilliant.
Is it too simplistic to say the "buck stops w/ him", and discount the responsibility and the input of top Congressmen and Military advisors?

These three are great. They give me all the news that I need for the day. Thank God they are there for me to give me the news that the liberal media doesnt tell me or spins so I am left with a bunch of lies. There needs to be a movement to change the culture of bias in tv news.

Television is an important tool when it comes to learning. Without tv people would be as dumb as those Koreans in North Korea. We need Television in order to stay well informed. And we also need radio for those times when we dont have a TV near us.

I have a buddy who's currently signed up in the military for 4 years. He's a Sgt in the Marine Corp and has one more year left. He really wants to be in the LAPD but heard that past use of drugs will not get him in. I know he's going to have to take a lie detector test and he wants to be able to answer everything honestly. He has used meth when he was 17 to 18 on and off before he joined the Corps but he is now 22 and changed his life totally around. Does he still have a chance to go in?

Gore urged President Bush today--- “to try to separate out the personal issues of being blamed in history for this mistake and instead recognize it’s not about him. It’s about our country and we all have to find a way to get our troops home and to prevent a regional conflagration there.”

Will Bush be able to put his selfish pride aside and change course in Iraq? And recognize it for what it is---a civil war? Why should American soldiers have to play referee while the Sunnis and the Shiites play civil war?

Last year, the Jews attacked Christmas by moving their holiday on the SAME DAY as Christmas. But this year, they relented and moved it away from the 25th again, like they should.

Does this mean the war on xmas has been won? Should Bush declare victory?
