I don't have much room so here it goes.

I have considerable reason to believe adult protective services
is accusing me of a crime. Specifically threatening to kill my
mom.

I've never been asked if its true and even had the cops called on
me.

I think I have a legal problem and have a right to avoid them even
though they have a job to do. I think I'm obviously the target and
would be a moron to submit to an interview without legal counsel
present. Only one problem. I don't have a lawyer.

I have checked some things out however I'm not sure.
On one hand I can refuse to talk to them. On the other
they can get a court order.

If I think I'm in real legal trouble, can I refuse to be questioned
or submit to an interview?

Question must be answered before November 28.

I was granted an 18 month restraining order against my ex. He violated the order and I enforced it and he landed up in jail. The first court date I missed because the DA's office failed to inform me of the date. I missed the 2nd courtdate due to just having started a new job but this time I at least had a chance to talk to the DA. The 3rd and final court date is coming up and I told the DA my job would only give me the time off if I showed them an official subpeona, thus far they haven given me one. I'm told if I don't show up this time not only will my ex get out but the restraining order I have against him will be void, is that true?

I am almost 20 years old. My so-called dad hasnt paid child support since I was 1 or 2 years old. Am I entitled to go to court and get money? And If so how do I go about starting this out, like who do i need to contact and so on.(I live in Knoxville,TN just in-case u needed to know that).Information about Lawyers and etc who does this, is appreicated.

I ask my family for help my brother had a Mach-man act put on me signed by circet judge for dope. I went to treatment center for dry out. 21/2 months later stop for trafic vilation. the officer told me we have a problem. i presoomed position on his car. he handcuffed me never telling me that i was under arrest put me in car never reading me rights. took to jail prosesing me put in cell. no phone call. there was phone in cell no phonebook .I was under the March-man act when the dope was fond, and it stated that i was'nt able to make rashannel dicitions . i took the dope with me because the law man tooled me i was'nt under arrest, in no trouble mite have cimecal imbalance taken you to a bed thats ready at detox (i was going to give the dope to the doc. )so he takes me to jail (thats how the law got the drogs) for 21/2 days befor taking me to detox now I'm facing crimanal charges a 3rd degree felony . IS THIS LEGAL CAN THEY DO THIS PLEASE HELP I go to court Nov. 30 2006 ASK FOR HELP

Dr. Henry Kissinger said that there is no hope for an American military victory in Iraq. The options are: go strong (send more troops), go long (decrease troops but stay long term), or go home. The present administration prefers to go long. Isn't that still "stay the course?"

I just read about oe of the people that lost the election. I heard that their was a communist party down south never thought any thing of it, because we have a communist party here in America. My question is about, how strong of support does the Communist party have in Mexico.

my parents dont like my boyfriend but that cant keep him from seeing his child. they are mad that he doesnt pay hospital bills and i agree but him bonding with his child is more important to me than any amount of money. they were fine with everything until they found out that he asked me to marry him and we bought each other promise rings. now he isnt aloud to see our child. what can i do?

i have nothing against the Cubans but their goverment is not only not friendly to the USA but always seems to be against America and is currently in friendship with Venezuela and Iran .
i also want to add that Iran has made treads against israel and that we all know what that means for America ( they have pledge to exterminate the jews and all their allies ) . and last we all know how urged the iranians are in persuing nuclear weapons making anyone which may want to make an alience extremely dangerous . so i just wonder why is it that there is so little concern about this and the so worried people about security have nothing to say about this situation ??? logic would say that if there was a country which xenophobics should be xenophbic about that country should not be Mexico which is friendly to America but Cuba which is not freindly at all .
by the way i used anti-Mexicans because most of this people seem to talk about nothing but Mexicans and not undocumented like they claim .

"Here's a simple answer to both problems[draft and illegals]: Draft the Mexicans and send them to Iraq."

Others usually follow by saying if they serve about 6 years they and their family(imediate) can have citizenship, if not they're kicked out.

I'm just curious how many would get behind this or something like it. What do you think?

hello, tomorrow I have a test in which we will be given certain circumstances and we have to say which of the four political categories (liberal, libertarian, conservative, statist) will approve or deny of it. I am still not very clear on these...does anyone know a sure shot method to find out whether a conservative or liberal or libertarian or statist will be for or against a particular issue? Thanks!
