Why not...if 18 is old enough to get sent to Iraq seems like it's old enough to have a Budweiser.

I was 18 when the drinking age was 18. There were lots of fights
when those this young drank too much. I know of one incident where a guy got into really bad fight. Today he has a steel plate in his head because of his injury. Drinking is not good for those between 18 and 21. Raising the drinking age is the best thing that ever happened. Many have been saved from harm when this happened. Trust me. I speak the truth. Best wishes.

i might want to conform to it once people 21 commence being extra responsible with alcohol. i don't believe of it may nicely be decreased formerly this. commence the practise first, see no matter if that is efficacious, then gradually decrease it. many countries have decrease ingesting a lengthy time period, yet they actually have a diverse lifestyle about alcohol. reducing the age contained in the U. S. will purely create extra youthful people abusing alcohol than we've if the approach of life doesn't replace first.

Why? Don't we have enough twisted wrecks of metal and bodies strewn all over the roads as it is? How ridiculous. Why do you think that vehicle insurance is highest for drivers up to age 25?

And as for the "old enough for Iraq" argument? Honey, the day the US government starts training people on how to drink responsibly is the day I might change my mind on THAT.

Abosolutley not. The human brain isn't fully mature untill the age of 25, and untill then, people are not completley capable of making solid judgements, or forseeing the total ramifications for their actions...who dosen't remember how stupid they were in their youth? Add alcohol to someone who isn't fully mature and it is a set up for many bad decisions with long lasting consequences.

Maybe, but the legal driving age should be 21 for sure. Maybe even 25. Damn kids can't drive.

A. Drinking age is determined by state law.
B. If it becomes a "national" law... I suspect it will be 21 or above.
