Your mother may have a claim against your father, but you do not. It is a sad thing that your father did not support you, but you have no right to collect from him now that you are an adult!!

Unless there are special circumstances, e.g. special needs, child support continues until a child is both 18 and graduated from high school or 19 in any case. Child support orders are only modifiable back to the date of filing. Your mother should have pursued this prior to your turning 18 years of age. Also depends what your child support order states which you will need to ask Mom. In the Child support plan there should be a clause about Education or Post education (after your graduate from highschool). If not then by law once you turn 18 years of age and move out you are no longer a minor and the Child Support Order does not apply.

I would say the answer would be No.Child support is for children under the age of 18,you are now an adult and no longer entitled to child support.Your mother should have been pursuing this while you were growing up.If there was a child support order that your father didn't comply with, your mother is still owed that back money, but not you.If there was never a child support order,it is too late now.

As of the age of 18 you became emancipated. Sorry about your luck. Besides, the Mother would be the one to file a paternity suit.

This varies by state, so check with your local child support enforcement agency. They will be listed under your county government.

only your mother is entitled to child support and it is solely up to her to pursue it
