Just wondering what democrats think about moving closer to, or becoming socialist. Would that be a good thing for America?

Write your party affiliation before answering. Example:

Democrat. No.

If your answer is yes, could you please explain how that would be better for the country. I really don't understand. Or is it just a tool to hold political power?

Surely if you aren't doing anything wrong you have no reason to be bothered by it. I don't have a problem with it and would encourage more of the same.

The count would only be needed in the case of a very close thing, and to get the final numbers later on. But we would not have to wait up all night watching swingometers ect the result would be just after the polls close

The house house is officially taken over by the Dems, and NANCY PELOSI is our house speaker...sad, just friggin sad...LoL wow, this country is going to hell...well anyone else prepared for this friggin rollercoaster??? The Dems "have a better way", a way they have failed to mention over and over and over...........Nancy damn Pelosi, ridiculous.

I mean her first thing was talking about raising taxes for the middle to upper class...already a stupid friggin idea. Just b/c they make more money for some reason they should have to pay a higher percentage? LoL ok just keep giving to the poor who most of whom are poor b/c of their own bad decisions...stupid. Happy America? I hope so....

i've heard that they are all volunteers, and also the contrary. How are US soldiers sent to Iraq? (sorry, I'm an European, I'm not aware of those issues)

Nostradamus predictions come true? Today democrats won the mid-term elections, and Nancy Polocy is going to be the US official speaker. I was wandering who would be "the second lady". "It was said that two ladies-allies will bring peace..." and that "... people will compare the words of these women...". I wish this happens, because it's obvious that Pelosi is going to keep standing against the war in Iraq.
By the end of 2006 there're still some things to happen that I'm expecting. Especially the words about the "... old man that will stumble, then will be recognised, but will never confess" in smth. What do you think about all these coincidences?

With the Democrats winning the house majority for the first time since 1984, I feel like partying.Everytime I complained about previous elections, both for the house and the presidency, I have been bombarded with Republican's calling me a sore loser, with the exception of Clinton's term which Republican's that I have had discussions with always said that he was not their president but when I would say the same of Bush then suddenly I am unAmerican. But it wasn't that I was a sore loser or unAmerican but just was getting tired of things remaining status quo for so long.

Anyway, does anyone think Republican hardliners are going to be sore losers?
