How much does the U.S. owe? Doesn't that affect the value of the dollar? Do we have back-up?

The U.S. owes over 8.6 trillion dollars.

It was only 5.4 trillion dollars before Bush snook in.

The DEMS should start by fining severely the big Corporate polluters and closing off the corporate tax schemes.

That should save billions of dollars.

Tax the heck out of the rich.
Triple the tax for any company sending jobs to foreign countries.

I guess we will have to be more careful how we spend our money and stop borrowing to pay for things we do not need. good advice for anyone. ( no more bridges to alaskan islands)
