Or are you just spouting racist opinoins? Do you really think people are taking your jobs - a job that you applied for and didn't get because an employer hired an immigrant over you? Have you ever been to a border town in Mexico and seen how horrible the living conditions are? Do you really worry about terrorists coming in through the border? I know I am going to get a lot of a@#-hole comments but hopefully people will have some real information to back up what they are going to say.

Three months ago I moved from nightshift to days at my job. I filled out paperwork to take a pay cut and my hours were cut too. Even though I filled out the paper work my pay stayed at $12HR untill last week when my employer said they will be docking me pay for 19 hours a week for a month to make up for the three months at $12HR. Is this legal? They made the mistake. I only work 22 to 30 hours a week.

ok, so i got cut from work early because my office was taken over by the 30 people there for a meeting from another department.. and on the way home i was listening to NPR as i normally do... I'll openly admit that i'm a Democrat but i consider NPR to be fairly neutral, maybe a little to the left but not bad. that being said there was a Democrat and a Republican debating on there.. and the Republican was calling for the Draft so that we could flood the middle east, where needed, with troops. My instant thought was that this guy was a radical and not a true representative of the Republican party.. but i wanted to ask on here seeing as how if you know how to look threw the morons from both parties that post on here, there are some smart people. So what do you guys think about the draft? is this a lone wolf republican? is there a lot of support for such a thing? as an american (put republican/democrat down for a sec) how do you guys fee about this?

Do you think 24 years in prison for a non-violent crime was a fair sentence for Jeff Skilling? Do you think Lay would have gotten the same sentence if he were still alive?

Under what conditions does a parent not have the legal right to pick up their children from school? In specific, if a school has a bomb threat and the kids are moved out of the building to their specified shelter, do parents have a legal right to pick them up? If so, is there any documented law, legal case, or state policy for this other than that mentioned in the student handbook? I haven't found any substantial resources online.

Why are Liberals so pissed about 3000 of my fellow soldiers dying in Iraq but so willing to celebrate and fight for the right to kill 1.3 million babies with abortions every year? Of course we dont want to die but thats a sacrifice we are willing to make to stop a plane from being used to kill anymore Americans. Do you think the terrorists will leave us alone if we leave them alone? Clinton tried that, it obviously didn't work. You want to march for something, march against hypocrisy. ok anyway a went to my mailbox this morning and directv found out i had some smart card readers They said i was using it to pirate their signal! When i was using them to secure my small network because i forget passwords eaisly. And for other reasons
Anyway the letter said that i MUST pay 3000 Dollars or face Criminal Prosicution.
In the truth is i NEVER owned a sattilite dish
Because i dont like them AND directv Does NOT service my area
I mean this is a crime there commiting can i sue them for extorsion or what?

Have we all just become indifferent? Scandal after scandal and nobody loses their jobs and we just watch. People in power are not held to any standard it seems and i have watched where people failed to do their job or made huge mistakes and miscalculations and instead of losing their jobs they were rewarded. If a guy working in a factory is late or not doing his job he loses it and if not he is DEFINITELY reprimanded but people in power seem to be able to do what they want without fear or repercussions. What is wrong with us as voters, as taxpayers,as citizens?
