1) How would you prepare for President George W. Bush if he were coming to your home for a dinner?

2) What questions would you ask him and what advice would you give him?

What great answers. Thank you everyone for taking this question as serious as it can be taken---I mean the odds of the President ever showing up for dinner... ::rolls eyes::

Anyway, just so y'all know, I haven't voted on anyone's post, so those thumbs down aren't from me.

If my President were to come to my house I would treat him with the respect his office commands.I would prepare good old Pa
Dutch dishes. Then after coffee, I'd ask him how America can
get out of this no-win conflict in Iraq.and about the immigration
problem.I could not give him any advice because I don't have
all facts that he has. But I would wish him well and pray that he has the right answers.

I like Texas BBQ and Shiner Bock, so that would be a safe choice.

Putting aside the fact that I intensely disagree with him politically and I don't think he's all that bright, I get the sense that W is probably a pretty down to earth guy who has to act smarter than he wants to most of the time. The best way to avoid an argument and enjoy our beers would be to keep things light and superficial. I have little doubt I'd like the man as just a regular ol' guy...

I think a nice meatloaf would be good.
I'd ask him, why did you lie us into war?
Why don't you enforce our laws?
Why did you pass laws to protect yourself against war crimes?
Why did you pass a drug program that favors the drug company?
Why didn't you clean up congress and lobbying?
Why do you take large donations from cooperation's and then pass programs in their favor?
Why did you give a tax break to the rich in the country ?
Why did you campaign as the moral party and then allow torture?
Why did you try to cut out Social Security and then spend a billion a month on a ill thought out war?
You had a congress that would do what ever you wanted.
Why didn't you care about the middle class?
Do you really think God would approve of what you have done?

1.) George and I would kick it like Americans, go out and enjoy the Houston Astros (my fav. team) vs. the Texas Rangers (his fav. team) then I'd make fun of his team once the Stros put it to them. We'd eat Nachos, Hot Dogs, Brats, Burgers, any kind of ballpark food.

2.) George deals enough with morons who dont understand that being a politician isnt half of what most ppl believe. Its not just sit back and make this decision and that with ease. So me and him would talk for real, sports, college life, memorable experiences, etc...I dont think I could offer him any advice for he has made it much furthur than I ever will. I could only offer support and let him know that true Americans back their leader, especially in a time like this. I would ask him this one simple question though...how much have the liberals played a part in not allowing our army to go on and do the necessary things to finish this war off? Like showing to much mercy etc...thats the only question pertaining to politics id mention. Other than that just try and make him comfortable b/c he prolly hasnt been in a LONG time.

I guess I would make my house look nice and prepared a very good dinner. Then when he sits down I can ask him why did he change his focus on afghanistan and went to Iraq? Also, why is he now denying that he said stayed the course in Iraq? Lastly, I'll ask him about the book tempting faith where his faith based office made fun of evangelicals and used them in order to gain a voting base? How does he feel about that? He wouldn't wanna come back to my house.

He would be welcomed into my home as is. I do not need to present a false front of who i am or how I keep my house to him. I would thank him for doing a good job and my question would be to him "when are you going to stop bending to these dumass liberals and just blow Iraq off the map. You know Iran needs a good parking .lot?" Then we would have a cigar together for the end to a perfect evening.

I would serve the cattle that he and his friends let die in California rather than take help that was offered for political reasons. And yes, that help was offered at no expense to them.

I would ask him how he could let this happen. And if he ever watched an animal starve from lack of food or water? I would show a video of it for his entertainment. Very Gorey. And let him take it to his friends-the big corporate farm owners.

My advice to him would be to not stay where I could be in range of him to get even.

Thanks for the rant--I feel better.
Anyone else who came for dinner would get VIP treatment.

I'm not sure what I would prepare him and probably wouldn't give it much thought ... whatever is on the regular rotation.

I think I would invite Cindy Sheehan over to join us I'm sure she has some things she would love to ask him more then me. I would love for her to get a chance to talk with him.

""in case you ever want a effective meal, come and knock on our door in Dallas, Texas." -- President Bush, Jan 18, 2009" What he did no longer point out is that he will charge you the going costs for a meal

Man, I better get those dishes put away and get dinner started. He should be pretty easy to cook for, and I don't have to worry about what wine to serve since he doesn't drink. I would keep the conversation light and airy and hopefully he would be able to get a little bit of a break from his sucky job and get a chance to enjoy a nice peaceful meal and pleasant conversation. He would be treated as any other guest of honor as my table. He is prompt, so I need to get rolling.
