Three months ago I moved from nightshift to days at my job. I filled out paperwork to take a pay cut and my hours were cut too. Even though I filled out the paper work my pay stayed at $12HR untill last week when my employer said they will be docking me pay for 19 hours a week for a month to make up for the three months at $12HR. Is this legal? They made the mistake. I only work 22 to 30 hours a week.

IT'S LEGAL. IT WAS YOUR ETHICAL AND MORAL RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM YOUR EMPLOYER OF A PAYROLL MISTAKE. DO YOU THINK YOU GET THE MONEY BY DEFAULT BECAUSE OF A MISTAKE ? COME ON. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY THEM BACK QUIT.
