If they weren't being allowed to live off us they wouldn't be here. They are not on a charity mission to save us, you know. They are here for our jobs, housing, grants, education, and social services. If they stopped getting all these illegal freebees they would leave and stop coming back. The average citizens are not using them for anything, they are being used by the illegals. I'm sure any of them that have been here for a while know that. They just say what their racist leaders tell them to say.

Illegals would not be here if their quality of life was not better than where they came from...... They are encouraged to come--and to stay---by the primary-- largest businesses in the country and the politicians that service such business interests because they are a source of the absolute lowest cost workers... they add billions to the bottom-line of corporate interests here from sea to shining sea---

But--at the same time-- no one FORCES them to come here or to stay---and---in most cases they do much better (even at the lower wages) than where they were before---
The other driving force behind their move to this country is two fold---the PROMISE or DREAM of hitting it big (the American Dream syndrome) and ---the positioning it affords them in getting others of their family and friends into the country......

The haul down on the economic side comes from the shear fact that the very companies that are benefiting from these peoples' efforts-- do not take responsibility for their welfare when they get into Major problems ( health and welfare) and leave the common everyday citizen (who actually do NOT recieve much benefit from these people directly and a lot of the time not even indirectly)
to pay the bill-- all with the undying support from the political scene (because these people are not about to counter the wishes of big business-- they are their biggest financial gold mine)
Overall-- this is a mute subject-- because there truly is nothing that will ever be done about it-- it is an instilled process now--supported by big business-- underwritten by big government -- and just another in a series of financial rapes performed on the common citizen by both entities !!!

It's just one more piece of rhetoric...file it with the others...bottom line is, if the illegals were so very proficient at supporting themselves and others, they would have never left home to begin with...one fact that gets omitted is that in countries like Mexico, the people that have it more or less made aren't hopping the fence...it's the last-chance charlies, the vagabonds, the out-and-out criminals...

Illegal immigration just needs to be stopped. There's lots of theories on how to get that done, exactly, but the most popular I've seen are a) border enforcement, and b) employer enforcement, closely followed by c) no public benefits, no welfare, no food stamps etc. Now, it may seem mean and cruel to talk about withholding employment and social assistance, but the blunt and bitter truth is, if people want this stuff, then they need to try and make it happen right in the countries they come from.

The world has experienced practically runaway growth this last century. If we continue at the rate we did in the 20th century, you can kiss livability as we've known it GOODbye. Look for more instances of 'you stole our land from us', and the rest of it.
Read about immigration around the world. It's not just the United States that has problems with all of this....sometimes, moving around isn't the answer, you just have to set up right where you're at, and make the best of it as best you can. People getting upset doesn't really help, it detracts and distracts from the core issue, people get really competitive and violent even when they think it'll help get em to the front of the line to get that last donut,
and that's something that hasn't changed in hundreds if not thousands of years. Underneath the facade of civility and civilization lie hunter-gatherers, tribal groups who are hostile and suspicious to outsiders, and thus we enter the world of 6.6 billion, where understanding is in short supply, survival pressures are getting higher, and nobody seems to want to take the time to build schools anymore. Brave new world, indeed...

What do you think makes China's and India's economies the fastest growing/strongest in the world? Cheap Labor and lots of it. If the US did not have an enormous amount of cheap labor the US economy would fall flat on it's face. So whether you like it or not illegal immigrants keep America competitive in the world and help to provide jobs for millions of legal Americans.

The money they don't pay in taxes or they get by using US emergency rooms is a drop in the bucket compared to the 100s of Billions of dollar they bring into the overall US economy.

The illegals do think that America's prosperity is a partially a result of the illegal's labor.

This is a result both of the Spanish language media, that plays this up and as a result of the long trend of blame the yankee tyoe of thinking that permeates Latin American thinking.

There are some industries such as Tyson Chicken that probably due owe much of their profit margin to illegals and that do invite them up here. But the American society in general does pay more than it recieves in regards to the illegal immigration question.

Yeah what about all the welfare illegals recieve out of tax payers. Just reminding you if you don't have papers and get paid in cash no taxes are coming out of their paychecks. But it is coming out of mine which I don't agree with. Your resident or citizen you can say anything you want against illegal immigration because your paying for their medicaid, foodstamps, and tanf and etc.

We don't live off them, they came here to live the easy life and then complain about how bad their treated. Go home if you don't like it.
