I live in Iowa, and I recently got a parking ticket. I turned 16 last February, so my license is still under a probationary period. I know that if I get any moving violations, it will reset my year probationary period and I'll have to wait another year to get my full license. Will the parking ticket reset my year period, or won't it affect it?

2,748 DARWIN AWARDS!

I can't feel sorry for these troops any longer.

Anyone crazy enough to VOLUNTEER to DIE for the LIEs gets no sympathy from me.

I have a very low tolerance for the stupid.

I honestly want some opinions here, because I can't think of any reasons.
You can be morally opposed to abortion, I have no problem with that. Obviously making abortions illegal will not stop them but will simply make back - ally abortions the norm.
So why make it illegal?

I was thinking about about the whole issue of Israels right to exist, and thought occured to me. One of the main things Israelis point to in regard to this issue us that they consider the area their ancient "homeland." While this may be true, using that logic shouldn't we be negotiating with some indian tribes for the control of the United States? Seems like a rather absurd rational to me.

Of course, I don't think the Israelis should up and leave at this point, it has been like 60 years, but I will say this, that was a rather mashugana spot to choose to put your country. Wouldn't South America have been much more pleasent?

The invasion of Iraq has cost 655,000 Iraqis their lives. That is the conclusion of a study financed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Center for International Studies and conducted by physicians under the direction of Johns Hopkins University.

When asked about the report, President Bush stated, "I don't consider it a credible report." Bush, of course, is not reality-based, and he knows that any unfavorable news is "enemy propaganda."

Also, The New York Times (Oct. 11) reports that Department of Veterans Affairs documents show that about one in five U.S. soldiers who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan have suffered at least partial disability.

What percentage of these deaths were insurgents
or "terrorists"?

Is Iraq a Genocide?

I had a accident.
No injuries.. But I do have permit but also my permit was at my home. I think that was all my fault. Me and other driver is everythign fine but cars are broken. I don't care about my ca,r but I'm wondering that her car's front was crashed by my car. She just got a big damage at her front part.
I have no license or insurance and I am just 17 years old.
But the thing that Im worrying are I did not have permit on me and also I did not have my school ID so I got nothing to show to the police officer.
My permit is going to be expired after 1 week.
How much I will cost?
And for my mom, the police officer said it is my mom's fault.
Because he said " you must be with him.", and "he cannot drive with the person who is over 25 years and has a license.
What will happen? please tell me
Im from Korea. So I do not know what will happen to me and my mom please tell me anything about this car accident.
Thank You.

Journalist Daniel Pearl was actually killed by a British Intelligence agent. Do you still think western intelligence is not behind terrorist attacks. Oh yeah by the way, 84% of the U.S public now belive that the government is hiding something about 9/11. It looks like i am in the majority now.

The Military Commissions Act of 2006 was passed by the Senate over two weeks ago yet, Bush has not actually signed HR 6166 and it doesn't become law until his signature is on it.

The big question at the moment is why Bush has delayed signing the legislation HE ENDORSED even in the midst of fast-tracking other bills of little significance?

WHAT THE MILITARY COMMISSIONS ACT OF 2006 "LEGISLATES"

- Doesn't suspend, as is accommodated for in the Constitution, but completely abolishes Habeas Corpus permanently - the right of the detainee to see the evidence against him and not be locked up for eternity based on the arbitrary will of the state.

- Contains a definition of "wrongfully aiding the enemy" which labels all American citizens who breach their "allegiance" to President Bush and the actions of his government as terrorists subject to possible arrest, torture and conviction in front of a military tribunal.

If a individual fails a drug test, thus violating his contract, how long after the test fails does it take to actually be releaved of official duty? A friend of mine just intentionally failed his test to avoid roadside bomb detail, and I would like to know how long this process takes on average. No criminal charges are being filled, so its just a matter of how long it takes from failure to last paycheck.

People blase about Vote Fraud Need Not Reply.

"A recent letter - sent to all Governors, Secretaries of State, and State Election Directors - urging State election authorities to provide an Emergency Paper Ballot option to all voters this November.

To view the full letter, please see http://www.bradblog.com/?p=3576#more-3576 .
It is crucially important that someone in your town request an ample supply of "Emergency Paper Ballots" from your Governor's Office-- to be made available in case of any unforeseen circumstance by faulty machines that have broken down everywhere.

"Do you agree that no legally registered voter should ever be told to "come back later," or be forced to use a provisional ballot simply because a properly working voting system is unavailable on Election Day?"

Do you think this can't happen to you?

I had a legal question; I'm not looking for answers that say duh, I'm looking for actual answers because this is an actual question. Due to "many" car and gang related thefts in my city, I typically carry knifes within an arms reach of the drivers seat of my car.

Questions are as follows
1)(I am betting yes on this, but...) Is this illegal?
2)Is this a misdemeanor charge?
3)If 2 is yes, Is it just a simple ticket?
